One of the best concerts ever! The energy was electric throughout the whole experience. McCartney at his best with a band that just didn't quit. Never going to be able to see another like it!
I was there and he sounded incredible, especially since this was his first show back since being very ill! I had been to twenty-something shows before this and couldn't believe how rejuvenated he sounded!
Around 2017 is where it became noticeably weaker. That being said, Macca sounded way better when returned after the pandemic. He still sounds better now than he did during that 2017-2020 period! He must’ve learned/got lessons on how to cope with aging vocal cords during lockdown.
@@jamlive6650 I think it was just the rest, the only singing he did was his new album and he sang this in a range that fits his voice. He was touring almost every year from 2002-2019
In the deluxe edition of "NEW," there's a mini-documentary about the making of the album. Paul said that he and the band had strongly considered performing the album in its entirety at a show. Too bad that never happened.
In the repeat section of the chorus of "Paperback Writer", I wonder, who's taking that fab clear falsetto ? I suppose the drummer with a little help of the guitarist ?
