I love the Beatles & as Brit I lived thru the 60s within & without & their solo work. I don't agree with everything Paul does when he exploits social media every which way in selling his endless re-issues merchandising, some being sold up to £100 & young fans forking it out when they will need savings when they get to Paul's dotage & not having his £7 million+ & rising. I love Paul but not this Paul & rmbr Freedom of Speech is a hard won thing & easily lost.
Sir Paul has said many times during interviews, that he is still a 'Liverpool lad' and the famous 'Paul' is 'another part of him' or words like that. He is very grounded! I'm watching this August 2021 from Melbourne Australia

Music is a great medicine, I think I mentioned I am a Liverpudlian living within a small bus ride from where all the Beatles lived all those years ago, Paul wrote some absolutely fantastic songs that I really love, all I am saying is that I have always found Paul to be very "artificial" as a person that's why I referred to him as "Plastic" just my opinion.
Who would have ever thought, I would bet he never thought this much as time has passed. For him to be alive and relevant at this moment today. It brought tears of bittersweet to me. To think almost 60yrs ago they came to play for America. God speed Paul McCartney you always was my favorite Beatle. You 4 were very special to me as a youth.
I was at one of his London concerts and a young Japanese guy standing next to me was going bonkers, he kept shouting Prawl. He told me he had seen his concert a week before in Brussles and had flown over to see him again.
What would you do if you could meet Bach in person? As Paul gets older we know the man will be a legend 300 years from now and we still have a chance to see him in person.
To this day Paul only seems to get younger. Listen to those young girls screaming & Paul is all healthy, vibrant & confidently ready to perform at any time. Thank you Paul for keeping me going & growing up for over four decades addicted to your music. Yeah , I really dig Paul.

Paul (or any of the Beatles), is not just a celebrity. He truly is a living legend. Not even he knows that he is occupying the body of an Earthling. It would be as if people could still have contact with Beethoven and get his autograph.
I don't have a problem with Paul McCartney. He's one of my favourite musicians ever. My problem is with the people at the airport who probably waited all night and day for this opportunity to see him. Are they mentally ill? No wonder so many celebrities are reclusive!
