I remember hearing this song in the car as a child heading home from preschool. It was extremely snowy out so we took extremely long to get home. And I was like half asleep but still listened to the song and I was like “I really like this song” and my mom slowly caught on later on in the years because everytime it played I’d just ask her to turn the volume up. It’s still one of my favorite Christmas songs. Update: congratulations to yesterday for being the first time I’ve heard the song this year !! Coming back to read this story every so often makes me really happy to know that a lot of others feel the same way or just think it’s a sweet thing ! Update 2: for everyone curious , yes . I’m back !

I remember working at Goody's family clothing in high school & of course every retail store had their own Christmas mix that they pretty much looped from late November to Christmas Eve. I remember hearing this and thinking "this sounds...interesting...but it's catchy" and then always looking forward to hearing it at work because it brought a goofy yet jolly feel. It then became one of my top 5 Christmas songs!

This song is truly one of a kind. No other song can truly get you in the Christmas spirit quite like this. Most Christmas carols will present a very extravagant and rather exciting view of Christmas time. This song shows it on a more mundane level. Just imagine sitting around your living room with friends, sipping on eggnog and chatting about whatever. It is a song that I've heard on and off on the radio for years. It would always leave an impact on me with each listen but I never retained it. I went years without even hearing it. On my way home from my last college class of 2015, I had the radio on and I heard Wonderful Christmastime. It was the perfect timing and the fondest Christmas song I could remember finally came back to me. It was a Christmas miracle, if anything.

I've noticed AFTER Thanksgiving, ONE may start hearing Christmas songs (ONLY a few until 12/15, when they INCREASE in the AMOUNT - THEN, on Christmas Eve, toward the AFTERNOON, NOTHING but Christmas music will be PLAYED until Christmas is OVER!)
