@@theiceman6941 Splitting hairs are we? I could probably have said "was released" rather than "was a hit" but does it really matter? The Help! soundtrack the song was on was an enormous hit reaching #1 in the US and UK and selling millions of copies.

This song allways makes me feel young..finally he put it into his set list..The Beatles never played it live which I could never understand as everybody loved it
I love the fact that when McCartney does Beatles songs he doesn't just do something from Pepper or whatever that are apparently worthy but that he goes back to, in this case, Help! and plays the one's that I like too. And he sings them as they were recorded, with gusto, without a 20 minute solo and incidentally using the same instrument used on the record.
I know right, they're also helping "facade" Paul's high notes by singing with him so it makes them sound more full (not that he can't hit them, just not like he use too)

For any other band, this song could have been their career topping greatest hit that they were most widely known for. It's really, really good. But for the Beatles, it's an often overlooked middle-of-a-soundtrack album song, that even some Beatles fans aren't aware of. Greatest band in history. It isn't even close.
Underrated Beatles song. If it were released as a single it would have been a chart topper and a staple on classic rock stations. But instead we rarely ever hear it. Shame.
Very common; I noticed it when I went to see Joe Brown; when it came to the high notes, he sang the next harmonic down, and one of the band took the top. It was so well done that it took a while for me to notice it. Since then I've listened out for it with most of the Aging Rockers, and most of them do it that way. Good on them! I'm in the same age group as Macca and Joe, and I could do with a bit of help with the top notes when I'm singing in the shower...
Eu estava aí entre os 50 mil pagantes! Foi um show inesquecível. Qualidade de Som o melhor que já ouví! O Beatles São fantásticos! Isso foi em 2012 Estádio do Arruda Recife. Em 2014 o nosso Rei Roberto Carlos também lotou esse espaço! Vida longa ao Paul McCartney e ao nosso Rei Roberto Carlos!
