I was at this concert and WINGS ABSOLUTELY ROCKED THE HOUSE! To this day it's the ABSOLUTE BEST concert I've ever attended in my life! By the way, he does Jet MUCH SLOWER today than in the 70s!
That might be true but the version he does on Back in the US which I would consider today is much more up tempo. If I didnt make reference to that directly I apologize.
@@maybeimamazedtributeLove the conversation but I have to share with you that Back in the US was over TWO DECADES AGO that is not TODAY! Today not only is Jet slower but some others are as well. Again Love the conversation, it's always nice to talk with a fellow McCartney fan. Would love to see your reaction to Wing's song GIRLSCHOOL, it's a real rocker!
I believe the Wings Over America tour was the biggest selling show of the year in 1976. McCartney had made his way right back to the top of the heap in just a few short years - after starting from scratch when The Beatles came to an end. Btw... there are videos of all these tracks from this live album.
Thank you for all your comments @aBeatlFan4ever You freaking rock! After I get done with the music I'll probably go back and do the live video. The music is the most important part but I understand this is a pretty amazing visual presentation as well. I'll get to it next! Thank you again
Dude, you have to do this whole album...3 to be exact. The movie on this is lit.....do Call me back again...phenomenal vocal...his voice never sounded better than on this tour!!!!
omg, i love this. And I realize I never got a cd version of this and have not played my vinyl copy for more than thirty years. This is such an epic recording of live concerts.
Saw him in 89 in the same building 'the Kingdome' in Seattle... Unforgettable would be a good description... I mean... he is one of the originals that started what so many of us love now... I am 66 years old..
@@maybeimamazedtribute I didn't say it was bad either.😀 One of the things that makes Paul such a great singer is the way he can overcome any limitations in his voice. No matter how he's feeling, he uses it to his advantage and still delivers a great performance -- a skill that becomes more and more important as he gets older.
