Paul Miller Bids Farewell to BBC Local Radio After 23 Years of Dedicated Service 

I don't think anyone could ever replace Paul successfully he's the best!!

In Sao Paulo; Brazil where I grew up, we had genius of the music Radio like Paull Miller Living and working in Brighton in 2004 I loved the company listening to Paul Miller, the guests, the songs while working in Sainsbury's night shift. I am glad a few English ladies used to put the Radio on Radio on BBC Southern Counties Radio. Then I began listen to the shows on Sunday night there no chat , it was purely music with Paul announcing the songs. That's when I heard for the first time these two female musicians that I still like Crystal Gale = Half The Way and Carmel = You All I Need. Paul Miller Show great memories

I heard some of Paul's new replacement last night and turned off after less than 25 minutes as I was appalled at all the times the show mentioned they were local BBC radio. HOW on earth can the new late show be "local" if it is nationwide! It felt like a slap in the face and adding insult to injury with what the BBC are doing as they gradually try to destroy local BBC radio. I hope those who have made the decision to ruin BBC local radio will forever live to regret it. Oh Paul.

So disappointed Paul is no longer chatting to us I will miss him so much. There's nothing else I'm interested in so I won't be switching on in the evening 10pm-2am. So sad I'm grieving Paul. LOVE😢Doreen Crawley

My Mum listened to Paul Miller every night for 20 years until she suffered a massive stroke in 2020 and subsequently passed away this year. I used to help her with The Bag when I was visiting. He and the producer even sent her a get well message when she was in hospital. So kind and caring. Paul will be very much missed. What a shame the BBC don't invest more in what they were created to do, rather than all the politically correct rubbish!

My mother loved listening to Paul. She rang up and spoke to him at least a couple of times on his late night chats. Once Paul went she stopped listening. He will be missed.

I see that a new video about Paul's replacement which was posted on RU-vid just an hour ago has had its comments section closed (after just one hour!). I wonder if this is because other listeners are as angry as myself.
