Its like he didnt sit thru the same trial we all did , what a strange interview.

This was said so amazingly .. i had to repeat: by Pearl de Vere, for Paul: ​​I can give him grace in his bereavement, but there's no grace for his stupidity.

An ATF agent destroyed his cell phone and smashed his SIMM card and deposited them in separate locations. This was done a day before the phones were supposed to be submitted to the judge for evidence. Auntie Bev said nothing by the way. Others deleted text messages and contacts in an attempt to wipe their phones clean. The only person that left her phone in tact was Karen. Karen is NOT an evil person. She took care of John’s kids like they were her own. She also paid this guy’s fines when he got a DUI that left an elderly man paralyzed. Can’t feel empathy for someone that chooses to be willfully ignorant.

Paul is the perfect example of being fully biased, brainwashed and prejudicial in only ONE direction - anti-Karen Read - who absolutely refuses to keep an open mind to do his own investigations and to process the evidence that has been put out on trial for the last 3 months clearly proofing that Karen did not hit him with her car ... that is so sad. I could honestly understand why at first in a a state of grief he could be very convinced that she did it. But once in that court room I would have flipped so fast seeing how they treated my brother’s investigation. Oops I mean “ the guy”. Nobody stepped foot outside while my brother is out there freezing? The Fck?! Solo cups. The Fck?! I would not have been able to sit next to them even if I thought Karen might have done it. They did not treat his brother with the respect he deserved.

If this is true: "Peggy freaked out on Karen on the phone before she even arrived at John's.... Peggy was there" - very understandable for her to leave right away.

What does PO expect? He sat and glared at her every day of the trial, to the point where Yannetti sat sideways to shield her. And your mother mocking KR’s attorneys along with other inappropriate behavior should have been addressed.

She didn't contact them again because they took her phone on 1/29, and arrested on 2/1 and bail papers said she couldn't contact any victims families

One of my favorite things to do during trial was watch Tom’s daily broadcast. What was Paul afraid of? That he’d get smacked with an old lady’s rosary beads as she sits in a lawn chair dressed in pink. They showed up to support Karen and John.

Pauls interview was so bad, I no longer feel he’s just naive. He’s aware John died in that house. He just cares more about protecting McAlberts and hates Karen. John deserved better and his own brother sold him out.

Karen is hardly getting on with her life. Imagine how it feels to have this hanging over you all this time.

He is scared they will do the same to him as they did to his brother, why is he not looking after the kids if he is so concerned for his mum and dad

When he was driving drunk and hit an old man's car with his car, the fact is Karen bailed him out of jail! She was there for him, she didn't judge him and HE DID HIT THE OLD MAN, the old man lived, but he didn't care when he got in the car who he hit or if he was going to kill someone... She helped pay for his attorney! She gave him the benefit of the doubt, and he couldn't do the same. He's a hypocrite! Full stop!

I wud say to Paul: Look at the last 30 min of John’s life ( midnight to 12:30am according to his people/ the police and DA).... Bad Ass Warrant Apprehension Cop and Ghosted ATF Cop warming up for a fight... Higgins yelling at John to come out to the parking lot...and the autopsy photos

She’s a joke of a “journalist”. She should’ve been asking better questions like: do you think the investigation was conducted thoroughly? Should they have searched 34 Fairview? Wouldn’t you want to know the whole truth? How did you feel when his “friends” didn’t come outside to help or see what was going on? Why didn’t his “friends” attend your brother’s funeral? This interview is 100% bias and one sided. Also, the way she said “the pink people”. Seriously? & The way she was trying to act all sweet/innocent and batting her eyelashes looking like she was about to give that hawk tua for the exclusive is sickening. Don’t even get me started on that camera angle when they zoom in on Paul’s face.

I hope he does sit down with Josh Levy. Maybe it will be the one person that can talk some sense into him

In all honesty I do not think Paul OKeefe is the brightest crayon in the box… Seriously, I’m pretty sure that Paul is lost, and that there is a village somewhere that is being deprived of its idiot… Disclaimer: if anyone doubts the validity and the dire importance of a healthy childhood, you should definitely reconsider everything you think you know :) Considering family dynamics and birth order in the O’Keefe family…. So, if you are the youngest of 3 or more siblings, it is probable that your childhood experiences were insanely different than your older siblings. There is much research and many stereotypes regarding the birth order of siblings during the youngest years. The youngest sibling is considered to be the most gregarious, the loudest, the most outgoing, the most happy and also the least ruminative of all the siblings. In his interview, Paul, as the youngest of 3, seems to check off many of the classic stereotype boxes. Understandably, there are many siblings that will not fall into any category, but for the sake of argument, I’ll use some of what’s most commonly reported. In families with 3 to 5 children, the youngest child is reported to be less coddled and reared in a less-stressful home environment than their older siblings. The youngest sibling is stereotypically considered as “the baby,” and also the life of the party, the class clown, the family comedian, and is often considered to be the most loved by both the caregivers and the older siblings. The baby is also reportedly the least educated, and both the most spoiled and the least admonished for bad behaviors. (These stereotypes are based on childhood and not adulthood.) Ok, so while I believe Paul OKeefe is unintelligent, I do not believe that his birth order, alone, makes him ignorant when it comes to the abilities necessary for logical thinking. And while I acknowledge that I do not know what Paul does for a living nor do I know anything about his academic career, I confidently wager that he’s not sure about these things either. So unless Paul is a well trained actor, he does not appear to possess any sort of deductive reasoning skills. His odd understanding of this case required no top-down logic, on his part. And apparently no one even offered logic or reasoning to Paul. Since he does not seem to posses the ability to infer or weigh the evidence, nor arrive at a conclusion based on a reasonable mental thought, I believe he his answers show he is easily persuaded on purpose. Most likely he was persuaded to believe whatever he was told to believe, and that his acceptance is purposeful. I do not believe Paul is capable of making rational judgments. I do not see his thoughtless answers creating doubts. It would not surprise me if he Paul was never curious about anything, at all. Certainly not curious past whatever he may have seen or heard; from someone else’s perspective. If I’m correct, this would mean that paul has no interest in a search for context, and no curiosity to search for any more information than he already got In other words, I doubt Paul would ever “deep dive” for anything…. Ever. If perchance I’m wrong, and Paul has used a form of inductive reasoning to form his own conclusions. It could only mean that he was relying information and observations from others. In turn, as most people know, the reliability of such conclusions would be compromised. The conclusions would be nothing more than a load of crap. Finally, if Paul was capable of making an organized inquiry, and not solely dependent on someone else’s inference and observations, he would be a much better and way smarter person. Knowledge is power Maybe he had one two many youth sporting concussions… Whatever the case, it appears that Paul is happiest when he thinks he knows stuff

Whose to say she wasn't looking at her Attorney and smirking at him. He was sitting directly between them. I think he sadly is in major denial and if he has known some of these people for a long time it may be easier to blame her than to think they could have done this. It's not right but people deal in different ways.

Paul is under the impression that the Defense Attorneys “cherry picked” discovery items & got the Federal Government involved in the Read prosecution; which ultimately lead to Proctor’s life being unfairly ruined. . . . Wow, it’s incredibly sad that the DA & Lally have led this grieving family down that trail of lies.

I feel that if Paul was a cop he would be a Proctor type of cop.

I cannot imagine losing a family member like this, it has to be awful for the family and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone!! I think Lally and DA sold the family a story said don’t listen to anything else and that’s what they did!! Was some of Karen’s behavior strange after it happened? Maybe but when you want to focus on the one thing that makes her “guilty” then nothing else matters! This interviewer is so biased it’s unreal, the softball question! She didn’t challenge anything!!! Interviewer shouldn't be commenting, she wasn't there. I heard that the family were hostile towards Karen, so why wouldn't she leave to be with her parents?

This entire interview denotes victimhood, which would be expected since they lost a loved one under tragic circumstances. I did not expect that, because the mother asked 'do you think she had something to do with it?', he would assume she did, and from then on, a series of Karen's attitudes made her the only suspect, when what they call an 'investigation' not only led to nothing but also allowed the real culprit - if it wasn't an accident - to go undetected. That 'investigation' served to divert attention or simply denotes a complete lack of professionalism from someone who should be a professional. I felt that the behavior of those who conducted the 'investigation' effectively killed John O'Keefe again.

I believe the family is so overwhelmingly in grief and after hearing the prosecution, / lead investigator ( proctor ) evidence, inverted videos, so many butt dials, trashing out your phones/ getting new phones, re-home beloved attacking 🐶 dog, Did he hear the same stuff we did⁉️ He had to be in shock 😨! IF LALA had told the family from the beginning and explained why the FBI had to come in due to a botched investigation and there was a special report was done on the incident if Karen Reeds 🚗 CAR hit his beloved brother, John O'Keefe. And the answer was NO ‼️‼️ I believe had his family known this information over a year ago and had been able to sit with it and let it resonate, then hear how bad the evidence was done by the CM, And collected, and so on during trial, just maybe his mind would not be so harden. Biggest take away from this interview for me…. We are SO SO used to a defendant presumed “Guilty” not innocent that this time when she actually has innocence on her side. The “system” is wrong. How dare we support a defendant. We must all be crazy.

Because I can't see how a man would hold 1 statement a woman made, after her bf was killed and knew she was being implicated by the police in his murder, against her. Proof beyond "reasonable" doubt only applies when jurors aren't UNREASONABLE! For an effective jury panel, most people lack the requisite emotional intelligence to be fair & the ability to give someone grace in times of trauma or grief. They don't realize that people all respond differently when experiencing trauma, or that "not crying during the trial" isn't an indication of guilt. The lunatics who hear factual, credible, common sense evidence that the car didn't strike a person - and John's injuries weren't caused by a car - from the best independent experts in the nation used by the DOJ & NHL...and _still_ refuse to accept their testimony as true - are serving on juries & putting innocent people in prison ALL over...ALL the time. So, _why_ is this our chosen justice system? Any of us could be imprisoned for something we didn't do because of those people. There are countless examples of this happening to people who were later exonerated upon further investigation. We cannot stand for this. I don't want these people on my jury if I'm ever falsely accused of a crime! I don't want my freedom taken because of a few people's blind faith in law enforcement or critique of my facial expressions. Why do we put such an important decision in the hands of a jury with NO prerequisite IQ, education, life experience, or proven open-mindedness? Why wouldn't potential jurors have to pass a thorough screening interview, mental health assessment, psychological evaluation, or emotional intelligence screening? We all agree that our current system is wrought with human error & bias, yet we've done nothing to correct it in over 200 years! Without enacting a more rigorous jury screening process, here's how we could improve the process to ensure defendants receive the benefit of the doubt while preventing wrongful convictions: A "guilty" verdict must be unanimous. A 10-2 or 11-1 "not guilty" verdict is an acquittal. That way, 1 or 2 "unreasonable" people won't cause a mistrial!

I’ve have personally seen people in denial about the circumstances in which they lost a loved one and yes in most cases there’s been denial that a family member committed suicide. What people don’t see is that when a detective investigates a suicide you’re not only notifying the next of kin, you’re conducting an interview of the family members and of friends to ascertain their mental and physical status and to find out their relationship status if there’s been any recent changes and there’s other questions we would ask. I’ve had cases where the person committed suicide or attempted it, they even left notes and the family was still in denial, one case went so far as to the victim left a note at her residence went and attempted suicide, failed and was severely injured, the next of kin ( family ) was over 2700 miles away and can you imagine me calling from NY to the other location and telling the next of kin over the phone that their child ( early 20s ) had attempted suicide and was severely injured ? Long story short the victim and her mother hired an attorney and filed a lawsuit which usually happens, they even went and did media interviews because mom was a highly visible figure in the state she lived in. Lots of denial on both the victims part and her next of kins part and when the case went to trial the 1st piece of evidence ended the trial, the note she left at her residence which I photographed where I found it, I then went back to my command to take additional photos and vouchered it as evidence. The point being sometimes it takes years and flat out evidence to get the denial to start moving away.

I do feel for Jo family it is hard losing a loved one… however I’m sure John loved Karen no matter their tiff’s the whole world knows this, Karen loved John easy to tell. So why would the family hate Karen don’t they think that John wouldn’t be happy with them treating her this way.
