Paul O'Connell, from what his peers say, was a force on and off the pitch. You don't like him? That matters not at all. He led from the play and in the changing rooms. Liking doesn't come into it. I believe you are confusing professionalism with liking. One of the things I admire in him is his self-irony. Apart from the hilarious jokes, it saves him, and us, from the arrogance of success
