Honestly I can say openly I wear a 'Hair System'. There is a difference as a Wig is something you can take on an off, it aint cut or styled to your heads shape and its not attached. A Hair System is a handcrafted system that is tailored to your natural heads flow, it also can be cut and styled correctly. You have to have it glued on, however it helps on confidence, self esteem and looking good. I hated losing my hair from the young age of 16 as within my family we have fine hair and unfortunately for myself and my siblings we have all experienced hair loss. Some people look good without hair or with hair, however some don't and it can be devasting. I have had a transplant and it didn't work as you have to have a large amount of money for grafts but also maintence of the treatments. I sometimes hate the idea of wearing this, however most of the time I am happy and to have ACTUAL photographs of myself is priceless.

"It doesn't come off 'till you take it off." And man was she impressed with that. I think she's looking forward to helping him take it off in the near future.

i wish male wigs would become more normal, girls seem to get away with faces full of makeup and extensions yet when men do it suddenly everyone is uncomfortable

I like the idea of wearing wigs not because one is ashamed of being bald, but just as like 'Oh yeah, I think I might try THAT style for a few weeks/months'. The worst that could happen is people think you look weird or odd, but like, people change their appearance in so many ways all the time, so why not? I think the big part of that is separating ones identity from ones looks. Then, no matter what you look like or wear, you have a baseline self esteem that is strong regardless.

I am bald and I am wearing a hair system too. There will be a cure for baldness in the near future. But for now our generation is deprived of it. Please give us a chance to look and feel good, until a cure for baldness comes out.

Worst thing ever is hairloss! Lost all my confidence when I started receding. And I’m 30. So can’t imagine how i would have felt if it started happening at 20!

The problem in my experience approaching baldness is that younger girls in their 20s don’t seem to give you a chance. They can be quite shallow and immature about what to a young lad is a confidence shattering thing. Women look past it as they get older and mature. I’ve spent most of my 20s fighting what feels like a curse and I forget the good things I have!

I think we need to challenge the social stigma towards male baldness. I also think we need to challenge the social stigma towards male wigs. Men should not be pressurised either way, and should have the agency to do what's right for them.

There's nothing wrong about being bald. If the person really wants you she will accept you for who you are, bald or not. Just embrace it and be yourself. Well, even if he doesn't have hair still he looks good.

as a balding man myself i really feel for the brother here, i really do......but if you're balding just shave what's left and put some muscle and embrace it, it's not easy to accept it but in the long run it is liberating.........and if a girl didn't give you a chance solely based on the fact that you're bald, believe me that is not the kind of person you want to be with in the first place take it as if nature helped you dodge a bullet.....good luck brother
