The only reason you didn't know PSS made these in hatch grain is that I was the first one to have them like that, made very kindly to my personal order. I'm super stoked they got you hooked.
Good stuff Mr Riché, Sargent shoes have always carried with them an air of mysticism and are considered the best kept secret within the English shoemaking community. They really have been the “brand behind the brand” for many years for a lot of bigger brands (for instance, outwork for George Cleverley RTW line) and European department stores. Safe to say they have always produced an eclectic, unusual, but beautifully proportioned and tasteful product. The first time I stumbled upon them on Instagram, I reached out to one of the employees and he walked me through the whole styling process before we finally settled on the Moore, SK1 Last (a deviation of your 724, but with a more aggressive toe and higher instep), in a Burgundy calf leather but instead of round brogue punching, we went with diamond shaped punching. Safe to say it’s my favorite pair of shoes now and I’ll be utilizing them further for all my footwear needs in the future. A few weeks back I reached out to the Sargent team to see how they were getting on, they said they had some exciting projects in the works and consequently sent me a picture of your shoes in the works, citing a green hatch grain Moore that looked absolutely exquisite. I have to say it makes me eager to begin my next commission through them. I posted a review of my shoes and of the company on my Instagram. So glad to see you wearing these beauties and enjoying them. Cheers 🥂
That’s awesome. I’m familiar with the Moore style with the diamond brogues. I believe they’re called the Brunswick, if I’m not mistaken. Those are gorgeous and may be my next pair from them.
I am color blind; and I can tell that those shoes are definitely green. I like the shape of the last used. Nice going, those shoes look great with those light grey trousers.
Not in a million years would I think that I’d want to wear green shoes but these are excellent. And yes, the dark color does make them quite versatile.
Those are fire bro. I have a pair of green waxy shell cordovan boots. Waiting on a pair of Navy Blue Hatch Grain Hiking boots. Those are my two that are 'outside the box' colors. Dope video as always.
Yo', Your breakdown of the color is spot on. The shade of green is excellent, not too bright so as not to overpower your outfit. That's the worst thing a dude can do is to wear a pair of shoes that hog all the attention which takes away from the look. Some guys are so bad with it that they can wear shoes alone, no outfit, and because the shoes are soo bright or obtrusive that you wouldn't even notice that the King is Naked! That's not the case here. These shoes are beautiful! Well done by Paul Sargent. I would definitely consider adding a pair to my collection.
Well said and I’m glad that you feel that way. Part of me thought that I was spending too much time on it but I wanted to make sure that I got that point across as I think it’s important.
Hey Mr. Riche great looking pair of shoes I didn't know you sold shoelaces if I understand you correctly I'll need to check into that more in the meantime keep making these very informative videos my sense of style has definitely improved outro!😎
Beautiful shoes! While I’m not looking to add a green pair to my collection, I would definitely wear those. Like you were, I am looking to add a pair from England as well. I’m thinking about a pair from Loake (Aldwych in black), but undecided.
Thank you! Loake does make really nice shoes. Back when I was interested in getting a pair, they weren’t shipping to the US. I’m glad to see that this has since changed.
Nice shoes. I can never pull off green shoes but that color does look quite subtle. But not for me. I checked out them out and saw that they have a small number of styles. Which is fine and figured they probably don't keep much inventory. I do think the style with the very narrow waist is cool. You usually don't see that at this price point. Keep up the great work!
Fam, I’ve been waiting on these and I’m happy that they are not to too bright, having said this I’m not at this step out point, the style is on point but I wouldn’t have any ideas on how to wear them. I look forward to maybe seeing how you pull it off
I was a little skeptical at first but I think due to them being dark makes them pretty versatile. I’m looking forward to putting a few outfits together with them.
I would’ve preferred that as well but then again, I don’t currently have a pair with 2 types of leather. Plus it will be a lot easier to get a mirror shine on the smooth leather.
Ever heard of Floris van Bommel shoes, they are around €250, or less if on sale, and awesome quality, they fit like a glove from the first time you put them on, the only thing that doesn't match is their shoe sizing, so be careful with ordering them online, unless you know your "van Bommel" size...get a pair and do a review on those for your followers...they will appreciate it...
Not sure if you know but all the prices have VAT included until you put the shoes in your basket then it’ll reflect the correct price. I also noticed today that they’re offering free worldwide delivery for a limited time.
