Met her at a record signing in Glasgow in 89. She was lovely. I always thought that in the video, if she "moved on up" any more she would have come out of the top of her dress.

I was 5 when this track came out and I feel like I missed out on a really amazing era in music. Damn there was so much going on in 1989 culturally. This video is incredible and I love Adeva's flava. Songs these days don't reach down in my soul yet make me dance like this track right CHEA. Like the music of '89, videography was also incredible in a way that you just don't see anymore (e.g. Tongues Untied, Marlon Riggs).
