@Evan Laughlin there's no logic for psylocybin to be illegal, look at the studies done with the compound at University College London. He's doing the right thing by promoting it, so the word gets out to the world exponentially and the beurocrats can finally stop shitting their panties and allow research to be done without having an audit every 2 hours.
I have ptsd and MDD, I have childhood trauma, and I have struggled since childhood with depression and SI. I microdosed for the first time and it wasn’t what I expected, in the very best way. I didn’t hallucinate and I didn’t feel “high.” I felt the most “normal” I had felt in years, if ever. It brought me to tears. It was the first night I didn’t struggle with the black cloud that lingers regardless of what I have tried... We have so ignorantly ignored the most vital creation in our existence.
That's wonderful ! I Love hearing stories of people having such satisfaction with their mushroom experiences. Here's to many more wonderful steps in your healing journey , and beyond !! ✌&💗
Took Pauls' mushrooms during my cancer treatment. Found him 6 months before diagnoses. I tell people it was a breeze for me surgery meh easy - 2 rounds Chemo/30 Radiation sessions - Piece of cake for me. My chemo doc said the science is not in...well it is now *LUV YOU Paul Thanks Mate* P.S. In 6 moths I become 1 of the 40% who live past 5 years 60% don't (scared the crap outa me)
Microdosing psilocybin mushrooms saved me from suicide. My depression was resolved after the first dose. I'm almost a month into mushroom therapy and I'm now going into the root of thought patterns and rewiring my brain. So much gratitude to the mushroom kingdom and Paul Stamets for paving the way.
@@staceyflowers5569 No, I worked with CBT and meditation on my own. I’ve heard that having a therapist to work with can be really helpful too. Good luck

God how I love Paul Stamets. What a gift this fantastic gentleman is. Paul Stamets, Alan Watts, and Terence McKenna are who have given us much enlightenment and evolution. ♡
Enlightenment is a personal journey! You get to look within yourself, change what you perceive as faults, focus on the positive, and adjust who you are! It's different for everyone.
Not necessary. A dickhead stays a dickhead. I believe in psilocibin therapeutic effects but it can also be a super way to escape reality and therefore make you more miserable. If you know that nothing from outside can bring you redemption then you might try mushrooms in a sacred "special" self reflection time. Once again it is not a shortcut but it can definitely help for healing cptsd if you do it for that purpose and already know how to navigate. Opening certain parts of your psyche can be dangerous
@@Getnodrama Not necessary same as not beneficial? I could definitely agree it is not for all mental “fortitude” ? 🤷♂️ Though I have seen the agro, self centred, vile, haters of fellow humans.... just care!!! and put themselves in Other’s shoes for awhile... I just want to recount a dialogue between Paul and Joe Rogan. Joe: “So you’re telling me that fungi were the architects of our environment?” Paul: “Joe. They are the architects of our Being.” 🙏🏻❤️🍄
Having discussed with flatearthers and climate deniers the term "People medicine" scares me. Yes, there needs to be legislation to reign in the pricing and ethics in the medical industry, but to think that random amateurs can do a better job is at best naive.
@@madshorn5826, the death toll of profit medicine is significantly higher than the alternative that you suggest. Naivety is an odourless substance, you need to use your nous to spot it. @@dilara4130 I feel the same way too. I put too much on my plate and it definitely affects my stress and anxiety levels. I am also glad to be a part of this community.
This man is literally changing the world. I’m bipolar type 1 and I struggle pretty heavy with it. I am medicated and I take my medication, but even so, sometimes it isn’t enough. I’ve experimented with microdosing psilocybin recently and I have been having profound results. Consistently, I have been able to identify signs of coming episodes, something I haven’t been able to previously do despite therapy and medication, and plan accordingly. I can go on and on, but long story short, my life has completely changed for the better. I’ve decided to stop smoking since starting microdosing and have been smoke free for a solid 4 months now, without any desire for it. I’m back to working out, taking better care of myself, and finding enjoyment in life I’ve never had before. This man is a treasure and I cannot emphasize how much his research has helped me.
I suffer from depression and anxiety and have for over 20 years. I recently ( 3 weeks Ago ) started microdosing truffles. I can't even believe the changes in myself. It's lime a miracle cure for me that I've always been looking for. I no longer over think every situation. It's just is then I move on. So strange but absolutely wonderful
Shoot, now I forget if it was BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER that is basically your therapist calling you an AHOLE in professional language or if it was the Bipolar...well I put this here IN CASE I faffed that up...as ACCURACY IS SUPER IMPORTANT AT TIMES< and I would like to be as clear as possible...so take my above comment with a GRAIN OF SALT perhaps as it could be 50% / 50% it's one of the two, and my brain at this point in time fails to be able to remember exactly which one it was...yet all the rest of the stuff up there should hold okish! I try to be clear, as best I can!
Yeah, pretty sure it's borderline, almost guaranteed...that's why I even looked it up a bit, because I wanted to be more sure...so seems like your therapist MAY be ok with ya, ha...sorry. Yet still if you PREFER another diagnosis, take a whirl at it, you will see I am accurate in stating how varied their guesses can be...after all YOU ARE A PERSON< and many of them just treat you like a diagnosis!
Neurosis, Narcissism and Fear are the cancerous tumour for planet earth. Psychedelics combined with introspection, contemplation and compassionate could well be the antidote! Personally from my own experience, I feel this in my heart. 8 months after a huge Psilocybin therapeutic journey my life has permanently changed! I have a joy and appreciation for life that’s indescribable to convey. I can but only with blissful tears. Thanks to Paul Stamets, The McKenna Brothers and the rest of the humble people lovingly and peacefully speaking up for the legalisation and spreading the message concerning the monumental benefits of these sacred plant medicines ❤️
It's taken me 40 years to get what came to you in a day! Life is an adventure, either way. However, I do wish I could have lopped off a decade or two. Good on you!
@@kirstinstrand6292 I’m 40 next year. This hasn’t come to me in a day I can assure you. I am no different to the ripening and falling of a fruit from a tree; the fruit falls in an instant! But the preparation took much time and work. Like mushrooms too. They appear as if by “magic” in just hours after some rainfall. But the mycelia network that provided the result of the “over night fungal fruits” would have been hard at work for several months beforehand. Like you and everyone else, even the so called self professed “enlightened ones”; we are all endlessly going through cycles of breaking down, recycling, ripening/rebuilding and birthing. Whilst in these material vessels we are forever works in progress! All of us are. But at the core we are also that immaterial infinite boundless potential of joyful ecstasy and bliss. We are: *Love*

That's awesome. We the people are choosing to save ourselves. No one needs federal government anymore, we no longer are beholden to giant corporations and the time of heirachical religion is long gone. Humanity is entering into a new era of conciousness. 🍄❤
I think that the world really needs widespread and responsible use of psilocybin and some of the other fantastic psychedelics in order to build a more equitable, caring, and peaceful society.
If pharma gets into psilocybin, it will not be good. Maybe they will use the Synthetic Lite version to open people's minds, a tiny bit. That may be ok.
I know someone who took a large dose of mushrooms & he ended up seeing the truth of the universe. He was a disgruntled meat eater hunter, wanting to b a cop B4 mushrooms, then after mushroom trip, he suddenly was happy, became a Vegan, loves animals & now going to do cbd business... he said There is only divine Love which we are all made of & says now we are all one- amazing change ...
Can you imagine what would of happened to them if they had of gone on a bad trip then? Probably would of become some kind of total psychopath if they are that easily influenced by the chemical drugs in the fungus!
Shrooms help my eyes issues reduce and my depression was gone too I feel so okay and I can see well without my glasses thank you so much sir mycoroland, you all should check him out and dm him to place your order on Instagram @mycoroland
Thats because he's smart and wise and humble. Knowledge and wisdom are 2 different things. In the end knowledge will increase and wisdom will decrease. So when we see wisdom we must listen to it and cling to it like a baby on a mothers breast.
Saying it heals trauma reminds me of the work of Dr. Gabor Mate. He is keen on the topic too I think. Dr. Stamets you are one of my living heroes!! I got your back.

I am 69..used to live in Missoula and Helena in the 70's. Presently am in a town not too far from Paul Stamets in Port Orchard, WA. Would you be willing to share your grow and legal information with me? Just one experience with psilocybin changed the trajectory of my life when I was 23. It stayed with me and I can recall it whenever I want to smile.
There is another path to the top of any feild other then the University Track. Paul has shown us how a mind.. . not conditioned by The university lecture hall or lab seminars, can come up with ideas the academics have not. He doesn't have the conditioning and in turn has eyes like no other.. Love him, he is an asset to our Culture.
This man has given me hope in my life going forward. I finally can see a way out and how to live again. As someone who is quite science minded I had doubts about psychedelics and taking them because of the direction I’ve seen other people go with ‘spirituality’. His expectations of what we really expectance and why has made me decide to take the leap. Hopefully my life changes for the better in a few weeks. I’m ready.
Thank you Paul! I am so so SO inspired and grateful for your work. It's absolutely exciting to think how much society (& hence the world!) would improve if we could create an open alliance with this miraculous psilocybin mushroom! 😊💖
Found my very own Liberty cap patches... my microdosing journey will begin soon... I watched this video roughly a year ago and it made me start my hunt.... one year later Ive done it!! 🙌🏻
LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself. This experience gave me a lot of confidence about myself and my body. A bunch of bad thought/ behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands alot. It gave me a lot of hope that things would be fine, this is the one thing I heard throughout the trip : Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me. Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I'm rebuilding my life one step at a time.
I battle from depression, anxiety and PTSD, I've heard shrooms cured depression, I took it and it helped me. Wish doctors were more open to natural medicines over big pharma but we know why.
Yep to my first microdose and eureka. Thanks to Paul for his dedication and belief. It work folks. Nothing bad happens lol. It’s a friggin mushroom. Like weed it’s natural. Shrooms associated with death and rebirth in nature. So shrooms helps you let go and start anew.
I'm really glad that mushrooms have had a positive outcome in your life. You take the next step when you deem yourself ready to do so and not beforehand! Some here question what it is that mushrooms do for you and what they don't seem to understand is that the experience is different for everyone, every time you consume them. The veterans that I work with here in Colorado have had very positive outcomes in their use of mushrooms in dealing with their PTSD's. So for anyone questioning the effects of mushrooms on anybody, all I can tell you is to try it for yourself. Be sure to have a close friend who is not tripping be present to help you be safe and then form your own opinion.
“At least 5 grams” is so wrong lol. If you’re 100 pounds and take one of the stronger species like Psilocybe Cyanescens or Azurescens, you could achieve ego death/ hallucinations on like 2g
Be carefull. Natural does not mean, non toxic. A lot of people think...What is natural never harms. But if you study nature, you will change your mind. Nature is fascinating. Nature cures. Nature kills. Nature makes sick. Nature is complicated. Nature is..., well... Do allways research profoundly on things you use.
I have read so many reports on how amazing this is for curing brain problems, i've been using the stamet's stack for about a month now, and WOW! depression is almost a distant memory, i have arthritis and bad joint problems and shakes, these have almost nullified, i read that someone cured epilepsy on one microdose. Now i love fruit and veg, i used to eat crappy saturates, and my smoking is down by 80%

Psilocybin changed the way my brain works, permanently. I was depressed, disconnected from friends and nature, and microdosing for a month changed that. I had more fulfilling conversations, made connections, and felt like a kid again when I went out in the woods to explore. Colors were brighter. It really does make you feel at one with things instead of isolated. We'll see a big change in the world when it is legalized.

this man is a genius! I was fortunate enough to have grown up in south Florida around cow pastures back in 1973. I had no idea until I skipped my high school graduation and went with buddy by van with our dirt bikes to Gainesville, mushroom mecca at the time. That is when I found out its the same mushroom that is all over where I ride my bikes back in Deerfield beach lol. I know the benefits that Paul talks about and more. I believe it gave my brain a kick in the ass to want to learn everything this being one. I was a troubled kid in trouble all the time, terrible in school. had my 3 year love affair with mushrooms I always missed. I went on to a wonderful career in aviation flight test and much more I know I owe to those years! Now I am retired disabled vet and my memory is not so hot and depression can be a monster to anyone. Because I knew what it did for me is how I wound up finding this site. After fantastic fungi I was convinced I can get it myself. thanks so much

Need some advice. I have had issues with PTSD and panic attacks, I have had a head CT which has shown deep white matter lesions. I have been having issues with being a father to my beautiful sons, having dizziness, bad thoughts and searching for anything that can help get me in the right track back to normalcy. So I started searching for magic mushrooms. A buddy of mine told me his friend grew them and he would get me some. So yesterday I was given not mushrooms but a baggy of capsules which I really didn’t like and he explained they are mixed with vitamins that will make them work better. His words. Skeptical I took one capsule. Which he said was approximately .1 Anyhow After about an hour I had a panic attack hit me. Racing heart beat, tingling all over my body. Luckily I have meditated and figured out how to calm myself down. I didn’t ever feel terrible but I didn’t feel good either. I at some time felt energetic but scared. I tried to look inward etc. this morning I feel kind of fuzzy almost hung over not clear minded at all. Is this normal? I’m looking for any recommendations I can get.

I absolutely agree with Paul's assertion that post experience of trip, the re-remembering of the experience itself brings mental health benefits........why? For me its the epiphany of seeing the world absent ego and without past experience reference. This truly brings an understanding of how constructed my normal perception is releasing me from taking "normality" too seriously.
I got hit w mental health issues at a very young age. An when I was in my mid 20's. I started to have tremors an shakes. By 27yrs ol my ma an fam were lookin for a nursing home. I envy you finding these in your youth! I just had my first experiences with mushrooms in my 60’s. It’s opened up the world to me. After suffering crippling depression, anxiety and PTSD I have improved so much in just two relatively low doses. I am looking forward to the future and have ten times the energy that I had before. I’m so glad that people don’t have to go through what I did…one ineffective medication after another, dulling my depression, if it worked at at all,but also dulling my happiness. I’m going to Jamaica for a retreat this month, and hopefully will find even more healing in this. I’ve learned to trust the mushrooms, they know what I need in the moment! So healing!
