Happy for Paul to get to move away from KISS and get to follow this path. I grew up with KISS and that road will always have my respect, but paths weave and turn in life and if you don't follow your path you'll find dead ends. I'm much more excited about Soul Station than I am about another KISS album. Stanley Eisen, best of luck to you old friend. I'm pulling for you.
Paul Stanley is a good man. He's very diverse in his music, and a very underrated guitarist. Besides musical talent, he's just got a really good soul. Love from WI
I'm a metal guy, with old country tendencies, that absolutely loves Motown. This took me back to riding down the road with my dad, and just experiencing music. Nobody writes pure love songs anymore. At least, I'm not hearing it. This makes me very happy.
This is awesome, jazzy, classy beautiful tunes. He looks magnificent! So brilliant, most rockers never change their image as they mature and grow spiritually, I love seeing this, it's fabulous!
OG KISS had it all vocally. Paul had the soul, Gene had almost a Lennon tone, Peter had that Frankie Miller type rasp and Ace had the NY punk vibe. Almost like an American Beatles centered in rock and roll but having the ability to pivot anywhere. It's funny how you can hear the R and B influence going all the way back to the first album.
I'm so excited that Paul and this great band of musicians and singers are bringing us this awesome soul music and the Motown sound. I have loved it all my life, and this great band sounds so good!! I love the horns and strings as well. (I'm a huge fan of Chicago). Soul Station is making me excited about music again!!!

I really appreciate that Paul Stanley of KISS would pay respect to Motown & Philly-Soul songs in his musical career. I love the fact that He is writing original soul music as well. He has always been a great writer of songs with a great voice to match. I think I would prefer Him to do more original soul music and a few covers instead. He's more than capable of coming up with some good songs. "I Do" has that 70s soul magic(would've been a big hit back then).
Paul Stanley is a great musician, songwriter and vocalist, and a truly decent human being. How wonderful to showcase these brilliant session musicians and how the creative process unfolded in an organic way. I have long wondered what would happen after KISS, and I never imagined it would be something so earthy and cool.

1:55 “I’m not on a crusade, I’m not the spokesman or the flag bearer for Rock and Roll, or Metal, or Blues Rock, or whatever, I play music, I sing. That’s what I do.” Eloquently put, Paul.
I noticed that, too. Eloquent and still beautiful. Fascinating! Paul gave his soul to Rockmusic on his Solo album in 1978. And lifted KISS higher.. I've always loved KISS because of him. Now he takes me to "Soul Station". Let's see.
Paul Stanley is maybe the most underated frontman in history of rock music. KISS have a lot of haters among rock-metal community due to the verticality of the band through the decades. This is so unfair for him, his voice is angelic.
@Georgios Koutserimpas... KISS has taken so much shit from critics for being a no talent, gimmicky band... But guess what... "no talent" bands don't last 50 years !!! ...and you're right, Paul Stanley is criminally underrated !!!
A purest...A lover of music in all it's wonder. I have long respected this man and his craft from here in New Zealand. This interview is a must for up and coming musicians......This is Gold. Mad respect for you Paul Stanley
You wanted the best, you got the best. Paul Stanley. I would love to meet Paul one day. Just so I could say thank you. Thank you for all his music that has been the soundtrack to my life.
"I Do" is going to be a beautiful gem for the world to hear and this is exactly what the heart wants. So much love and emotion in this track. I can only imagine how magical this album is going to be. Thank you Paul, Soul Station, and all who are involved ! Love this. Beautiful Sounds
This is so surreal watching this. I am a Black male that grew up on straight R&b before I discovered Kiss in 1977. So my dad would blast his Earth Wind & Fre, Marvin Gaye, and The Temptations in the living room while I'm blasting Calling Dr Love, Detroit Rock city, and Charisma in my bedroom. So I grew up hearing both sounds/genres at once. To see Paul do this is like going back in time of hearing Paul sing and listen to R&b in the background.
WONDERFUL!!!PARABÉNS DARLING PAUL STANLEY!!!ADOREI TODAS AS MÚSICAS DO SOUL STATION!!!VCS MERECEM GRAMMY!!!QTA POESIA MUSICAL!!!!DIVINOOO!!!QUE GOD ABENÇÕE SEMPRE!!!MTAS FELICIDADES!!!FAN FOREVER!!!!
Bless you Paul for doing what you do. What a great thing to do to pay homage. Im excited to hear the album and also enjoyed listening to motown growing up and a KISS fan. Music is all about what you like to listen to no matter the the genre. Great to see Eric too and you got a great talented team together. Best wishes 🙂😎👍🏼
OMG I lm so amazed at all the talent one man could have. The most beautiful gentleman, that I have had the honor and privilege of getting to hear that talet!! Thank you , Paul Stanley 👋🌹❤🎉

Have you heard his voice on tour last year with kiss, he sounds rough. He can't keep the pace or vocal range anymore. You are the kind of person that wants to milk the cow instead of moving on

All rock, hard rock, rap, pop, etc. are all derivitives of Rnb, blues, and motown. It's perfectly normal for the road through musical time to circle back to it's foundation.

“Then we brought in the horns...” (pans to horn players in the studio). “Then we did the strings”....(no footage of the string players because they used software, since Paul blew his production load on the horns.) 😂
Must be an absolute pleasure for Paul Stanley to actually harmonize with other great singers. Not co-sing like Kiss but harmonize. This sounds great. Keep it up Paul. No more belting.
Paul, this is so awesome!!!! The sounds/songs made me feel good listening to them in this video. I'm sold! I preordered! Thanks for this. I am a KISS fan since I was 9 years old. I am 56 today. This is so refreshing! Keep this up, man!

Among all the many things that have made Kiss so successful, people often forget to mention that Paul has the one quality no act can survive in the music business for years without and that is an amazing voice and the ability to use it. Paul has both and he has style. He knows that motown sound is not something to be tampered with selfishly motivated changes, but that the best an artist can do is capture the eternal essence of that sound as best as possible. That's why his Soul Station sounds so good: the individuality of this music only arises when everyone withdraws their ego. Besides that Paul gives hope to musicians with hearing problems (like me).
I've seen Paul ( KISS ) dynasty tour79, hot in the shade, reunion tour, Phantom @ the Pantages Theater.. He is one of my favorite entertainers, guitarists, artists, performers ever. Overjoyed that the Legacy continues. Cool to see Eric there too.
This is had such a smooth sound, keep going Paul Stanley, you/Kiss are some good rockers!! Keep Rockin' guys, it sounds so good!! Thanks for sharing!!✌💛😊
