this is my unboxing of my Chibanez Paul Stanley Cracked mirror Destroyer. It was bound to Happen that I would get one with some issues. This guitar was purchased thru AliExpress Shop1103205637. I put those Epiphone probuckers in my Chibson SG. I like them, but I have a feeling that you will still like the sound of your black Chibson better if its anything like my Black and gold Chibson. Mines the same way. I won't touch a thing on it. It sounds and plays great. I love your channel brother. Keeping it real. I can't wait to see the shoot out. Sorry about the quality of that new one. That's definitely a disappointment. I feel your pain. That sinking feeling. Keep up the awesome work!

Thank you buddy I watch all your content. I think you do a great job also. I am probably going to leave the black one alone! It was set up pretty decent and I do like the tone. I don't plan on playing that one live so it won't matter if the pickups are potted. I appreciate you bringing up the link in description thing! I for sure was going to. Rock on brother

Sorry to hear the mirror guitar is not as per expectation. At least you are honest is not like the other channel that all his chibson or whatever is fantastic when indeed we know they need some or a lot of work.

It’s interesting that some Of the chibsons or in this case a Chibanez, are flawless and others are not. My thought on that though…if you buy anything online you don’t really know 100% what you’re getting until you get your hands on it…look at the Gibson QC issues people have…

I agree it does appear that this stuff is kind of a c*** shoot. But then again, I've heard some questionable things from some of the big name guys also. I don't know if you ever watch Glenn fricker but he got a Dave Mustain flying v That he was absolutely p***** off about. he is a big anti Gibson guy now.

@@MiketheMetalsanta oh dang I’ll have to look that up! I have a brand new 22 Gibson Les Paul standard that plays amazingly…when I pulled the back covers off, dude, it looked like a porcupine! The routing job is terrible! I’ve heard of other worse issues with some gibsons as well. If gibson wants to be a non workin man guitar company then they need better QC. Gotta say I am thrilled with my PRS s2 McCarty 594 the quality is spot on for the price! Doesn’t play quite as good as my Les Paul. However they are built to be two totally different animals. Actually after looking him up I have seen that video on the mustaine v! It really is sad!

i never heard the term "chibanez" before . Thats hilarious! now im just thikning up "chackson" ,"Chretch","Chepaphone","Chernie ball",Chi "n" L", "Cheavy","Chamaha" ,"Chodin", "CHschecter" ,"CHi RS" ,CHi SP",...Chapman........

Once you deviate from the LP copies, the ES335 copies, the Strat & Tele copies the quality and replica accuracy falls off steeply. Chinese replicas of these standards are getting fairly good, with the LP copies really getting good (fret nibs, small pin bridge, better tuners, electronics & pickups). But boy, look at those Chickenbackers, Chibinez, Chretsch or anything weird & wonderful and get prepared for disappointment.

This is the first time I heard the name Chibanez! I heard of Chibson, Chender and what else is there !?! I got the Chibson Custom 1963 Les Paul SG Maestro Tremolo, 3 pickups. I've decided on Seymour Duncan pickups because they're cheaper than Gibson humbucker replacements. My question to you is: What pickup do I put in the middle position? There's bridge and neck position pickups but on such thing as a middle position pickup. Do I use a bridge or neck pickup in the middle ???

Why do you keep calling it a Destroyer, its not even related to a Destroyer ? It's the Paul Stanley take on an Iceman

Yeah, I know. I realized that after I made the video I was like smack my forehead What a dumb a**. It is for sure the Paul Stanley iceman. The destroyer is ibanezs version of an Explorer

I'm seeing some of them definitely. What's weird is a couple of my comments that I posted on other people's videos disappeared. Apparently youtube is being very strict about foul language or if you put any kind of link in the comments

One problem with buying these Chinese knockoffs is they are ripping off the legit guitar manufacturers and supplying a substandard product that can fool the layman into thinking the actual name builder is bad!

I think most people who buy off dhgate or Ali Express know exactly what they are doing and what they are getting.

I will never sell these and I don't think anyone buying these thinks they are real Gibsons. I have no loyalty to large corporations that don't care about me, but only my money. I have several Les Paul's that I am happy with but I got all but one at really great price points for what they are. I feel as though until people remove every product purchased that has any component manufactured in China from their lives it really hard to justify the supporting China argument. The Trademark issue is the only stance I would argue has merit! Again not purchasing any of these to sell. My own personal use and education purposes. I do appreciate the input though.
