Incredible version. I am so glad Paul did this concert BEFORE he started to lose his voice. This song is a great example of "pure Paul" at his vocal best AND LIVE to boot. The band is insane as well. Great players all!
I think this tour cost him his voice because he pushed himself so hard with this band. Also he had the entire workload instead of sharing lead vocals like in KISS. It cost him.
Iv'e never seen this before. Paul is on fire! I am so bummed that he can no longer sing as well as he does here. In any case, he will always be the STARCHILD!!!!
Paul will rock on forever, just think he's been singing almost 50 years, it took a toll on his voice. And he just turned 72 Saturday. But I love his singing.
They built them a massive kiss army and a massive empire, and it's time for them to relax now. They have done their job.watch phantom of the opera Paul is in it.
@@manuelteran2559 I feel like people won't give it a chance cause they think it's disco, when it's really not (besides I was made for lovin' you) I think this album has some of their strongest songs, like Magic Touch.
@@chrisi123 he's still a frontman and a good one for that but i wouldn't call him a great singer now obviously but that doesn't make him less of a frontman
Wow- I have heard this tour was Paul's finest vocal hour- and it's TRUE. This was his last hurrah as his voice was that Paul voice I grew up knowing and loving.
This has always been my favorite Kiss song. I remember when fans dissed the album (Dynasty) when it came out. I thought it was their best, overall. Great stuff on that album. Especially this song.
I was at his Sydney concert. What a great night. Came home with one of his guitar picks, that he spat out of his mouth into the audience. I guess it still has Paul's DNA on it. 😁
This was in 2007.Paul was 55 years old. He did exactly the same as he used to when he was 27 in 1979. Can you do that ? No, I never can do what I used to though I'm 49.
She's got the magic touch And you're walkin' around in a dream She's got the magic touch Oh no, but it ain't what it seems You feel there's a fire burnin' When she feels cold inside But you still want her much too much One day when she leaves you lonely You won't be satisfied (won't be satisfied) Until you feel her magic touch Her magic touch, her magic touch, her magic touch She's got the magic touch And you're under a spell that she's cast She's got the magic touch Oh no, but it ain't gonna last She's keepin' her love light shinin' To blind you from her lie (blind you from her lie) But you still need her oh so much And when she says she's leaving That's when you realize (when you realize) How much you need her magic touch Her magic touch, her magic touch, her magic touch And in the night in the crowd She'll be there As she prances by your watch While your dreams fade away She's got the magic touch And you're walkin' around in a dream She's got the magic touch Oh no, but it ain't what it seems One day when she leaves you lonely You'll miss her oh so much Until you feel her magic touch (feel her magic touch) Her magic touch, her magic touch (Feel her magic touch), her magic touch She's got the magic touch, I really want her She's got the magic touch, and I still need her She's got the magic touch, I really want her She's got the magic touch, and I really want her She's got the magic touch, and I still need her
I think because of the reaction towards “I Was Made for Lovin’ You”, the rest of Dynasty was just discarded. Which is a shame because “Magic Touch” is probably the best song on the whole album.
Now thats what you call fuckin awesome ! Paul stanley is my all time musical Icon ! And thats real shit and real talk ! He's a true legend and he's the reason why I play guitar , even though I play mostly metal and death metal . but paul stanley is what got me started
Paul's voice was fantastic from 1980 to 2006. Since 2006, Paul seems to be suffering from vocal attrition. I could be wrong, but that is what it sounds like from his recent performances. By the way, his band here is excellent. I hate to say it, but his band here sounds better than the current KISS lineup.
Concerts like this should be made available on this platform but with the upgraded picture so all the fans can enjoy it. Nobody is going to buy this cd or dvd anymore. Let the fans enjoy it online in superior quality, right?
Frank DeAngelis i have never heard such a stupid comment. Ace was the real talent. They were never as good without him. Maybe revenge era 91-93 they were close.
+iGoToEleven11 shit Antom Fig played almost on every kiss record peter criss sucked or was too fucked up to record. goes all the way back. i think about the only first 3 or 4 peter played on the whole record that's about it.
@@stevewhitney6885 Anton didn't even know any of those guys until Ace started working on his solo album. Do the research. "Almost every KISS record..." Yeah, TWO of them. Three, if you count Ace's solo album.
i thought for sure he was gonna transpose it down a step or two but...to my suprise...it sounds just as good as the album ...and a very un-rated album at that...great job :]
Paul had a killer back up band with him- Stellar pros Jim McGorman - guitar, backing vocalsRafael Moreira - guitar, backing vocalsSasha Krivtsov - bassNate Morton - drumsPaul Mirkovich - keyboards, backing vocals
Awesome! Top to bottom, front to back, can't remember the last time I heard a live band like this. Unreal. The harmonies are amazing, and to me, Paul's voice never sounded better. Great all around song selection as well.
Don´t forget, they always toured, played here and there and last but not least Paul is under the same "doom" that we all are under ... age ;-) Happened to Stevie Nicks, happened to Vince Neil from Motley Crue, David Coverdale, Ian Gillan and even Steve Perry has trouble these days - well nonetheless they are still our heroes
Paul has said he over did it on the Farewell Tour. They packed in as many shows as they could to maximize the profit and it killed his voice. You can hear it crack a few times on here. Plus Paul has always practiced and rehearsed full speed, so it took its toll! One of my all times favorites, he made sure to put on a show every time I saw them! The only line ups I've missed are with Mark St.John and Tommy Thayer. St.John because he was gone so quickly and Thayer by choice! He's a nice guy, but only an Ace clone!

Great live performance and Paul is one of the best rock singers. I agree with others here that Magic Touch is probably the best song in Dynasty but my heart is in Save Your Love and that killer full of soul and feeling solo of Ace...
