in my personal experience, plugging really start to happen in blue ranks! i started ranking up with lee two days ago and noone has plugged on me so far

Nina has the funniest rage art. She shoots you like 10 times and it does no damage, then taps your chest and chunks you out. She's out here fighting with airsoft guns
Paul is one of the best characters to get streaks with, has simple tools, one of the "lets play real tekken" kind of character, has answers for everything. The way how Mainman analyzes his opponent turns Paul into a real monster giving them no chance to win unless their skills are equal or higher than his
I'm one of the weirdos who actually likes Paul's new hairstyle, but I really do miss the way he looks in Tekken 4. If they bring that costume back with his hair down naturally, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
@@KnucklesWTDThat could only explain a bit of it lol. He was the most played character for Tekken 7 pretty much during it's entire lifetime with a few dips here and there. It's 100% the hair, it used to hit so hard but now he just looks lame tbh. They could have returned to old serious paul or kept the funny hair paul, instead they picked lame paul smh.
At 14:06 it was perfect, he went away on his bike and she got up point a gun at him and saying "going somewhere?", so that the fight would continue, haha. So, you are a father-of-family (a expression here on my country), congratulations.
To me, he is just really annoying... Not a character problem tbh, but why does 90% of those who uses Paul plays him like a jerk? It's just deathfist, demo man, bs, all over again... Is so tiresome that even when I win, I end up annoyed by him.
Has anyone noticed the very distinct sbm? Usually if im on a losing streak it will match me with people 3 ranks lower than me and if im about to promote it matches me with someone 3 ranks higher. Or is this just coincidence its been happening to me these last days lol
@@cyberneticthezero yeah its actually pretty ingenious, when your loosing bad you become the lesson for the lower rank opponent, and when youre doing good you get schooled by the higher rank opponent lol
@@MWToTheC same today was about to promo to shinryu but got put with a flame ruler azucena, still learning the matchup, my impression is that most azucena players in intermediate and beginner are all offense using their strings and mixups, counter all that and you can beat her more easily
I completely agree, and Steve has to be the most obvious one for when their composure has broken. I know, cause that’s what I end up doing sometimes lol

Paul is so ridiculous now. My Kazuya was doing great, then I faced a good Paul. I used to main him until Tekken 5. Been playing since Tekken 1 and I’m about to start using him again lol

Its funny. Ive never been a Paul main, but have always played him as a pocket. Ive done the best in ranked with him so far and idk why? Anyone else have this experience? And im not playing bummy with lots of demoman deathfist mix. Maybe its my time with Paul lol. Sick matches TMM you got a hell of a run with Paul 🎉❤
Couple of things. One is Paul in Tekken 8 is good. Heat works for him nicely and they clearly gave the character a lot of tuning and attention generally. Two is there is a lot of new blood that might be feeding the ranks. Three the longer we play the better we get at the tekken knowledge checks and a veteran paul always has been a potent scrubkiller.

I don't utilize heat properly sadly im still going into heat accidentally I need to lab more. Only chars I've labbed for playing is my mains. Still I'm almost to tekken king with Paul and its been so easy?
select paul demoman as soon as you gain control of the character beautiful also i was underusing pauls *b4 and sidestep 3 because i remembered the frame advantage wrong, theyre literally double the frame advantage i was playing around
I don’t care what anybody says to include TMM, he is the best Paul on earth better than any Knees or MD Luffy’s. He is just too modest to say so. I am sure any given day he can beat any of the above 2 that are considered the best.
Paul is definitely a character that'll carry you in mid ranks if you play him a certain way, in that sense he's like Victor. Gameplay wise, he's a mixture of Feng and Kazuya with a throw game. 50/50 based, nonstop button pressing with seemingly invincible moves, and all paul players play the same like with Feng. Factor in Paul having an easy mode guard break now and he becomes quite easy to cheese your way to victory. I find it easier to fight character like Hwo than Paul. The gameplan is to consistently challenge Hwo in his pressure with crushing moves as only his highs and lows can keep it going, and constantly side step if when you have some distance . As for Paul, I haven't found a solid strategy. His 50/50 mix up isn't as telegraphed as Kazuya's, making it more of an 25/75. The best thing I came up with is patience and figuring out punishment knowledge in practice mode.
There is not a lot to learn about Paul in practice mode in my opinion... You can practice throw breaks or to jab interrupt the guard break. But except that the most important thing is to keep him far away and never try to block lows on the heat engager... Better to take 3 Demo man in row than one heat deathfist
@@RedHotChiliPigno Specifically, I have to check Paul's sway options, and death fist punishes for some characters. The fact that he has an easy mode death fist now makes it even more annoying.
"At flame ruler you should have throw breaks. its not green ranks anymore". Me watching nervously knowing im not good at throw breaks, but at flam ruler ranks XD
but never forget paul is super honest and not cheap and is legacy and he needs demo man aka unseeable low launcher(s) and a fist attack that kills you in one hit and pushes you so far back you cant punish it (sometimes) but he is super honest so he has evasion like xiaou when he is a tower of a man more muscle than blood but he is super hones
Nah in the tekken community its called plugging because players literally cut off their internet connection (unplug the intrernet) cuz if they quit normally it would count as a loss
