"Super Apostles" was a group of false apostles in the Church of Corinth that Paul confronts through II Corinthians chapters 10 to 12. Paul calls them "super apostles" sarcastically because of the way they saw themselves and behaved in the Corinthian Church. They sought to discredit Paul in the eyes of the Corinthian Church and sought to accuse him of being a fraud. They were proud people who boasted about themselves. Paul, in these chapters, seeks to draw the attention of the Corinthian Church to the problem they have at hand - these "super apostles." Paul seeks to defend himself and his authority against the accusations of his opponents. Paul gives insights about boasting.
