World best, have known Paul Tao for more than 35 years now, was in the church back than christ people's church (CPC), remember when is house was burned and his right hand also got burned, I thank God for your sir, greetings to my big sister Remi. God bless you. ❤❤❤
Paul Tao is well above Segu Awe. Both brought another side of creativity. But Tao introduced a faster melody and harmony to Obey and produced higher rhythmic flows accepted worldwide
Pastor Paul Tao is arguably the best Guitarist that has come out of this Country. He brought in fast rhythm into the guitar play in the Commander Ebenezer Aremu Obey-Fabiyi which greatly modernised his music.
Agbaletu thanks so much for this interview. I've been trying to know this great guitarist for a very long time. I now know him, name and things about him. I've used his musical skills to improve my skills indeed, thanks so much 💖 🙏🏻 😊
Agbaletu, thanks a million for this. This is my greatest guitarist of all time... I remember playing with a band in my teenage years in Abeokuta and how we would spend days and days rehearsing Baba Tao's guitar reefs before shows... 🎉❤❤❤
I am highly impressed with this interview Very exciting and down to earth Sir Paul Tao was one of the major backbone of Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey He is still highly talented and versatile God bless him
Even when uncle Tao wants to drink Guilder then, he will sanctify it by saying in Jesus Christ's name, Amen. I've worked with him and know him well. Egbon was our inspiration when it comes to music and humbleness. He will always greet u with respect. He is good..
Dele, accidentally I stumbled into your RU-vid channel and immediately I subscribed to it. The interview on the channel are very professional and very interesting. I never heard of Mr. Paul's name before but I have listening to his guitar skills and not only enjoyed it but love them. Thank you for bringing up this interview.
Paul Tao is great talent. Alex Zito of Baby Wakolobo fame who was my roommate at Mulero, Agege then told me Tao is a Ghanaian like himself. You Alex is a Ghanaian too.
Paul Tao is great guitarist, a legend, no doubt. He only needs to be proud of his place of origin and be ready to disclose it whenever he is asked about it
You’re a good interviewer. This man breathes and speaks guitar. Most of our instrumentalists are soon forgotten. Something needs to be done and your program is a great start. Keep it up.
I came across this interview by accident, as I was onto something else when it was suggested. I am glad I spared a few minutes to listen to the initial part. Oh my, I just couldn't stop. The interviewer did a great job of doing enough background research before setting out. Thank you both. I really enjoyed this. I am also sending it to other like minds.
Thank you for this presentation, initially i didn't want to watch because the guest wasn't an artiste whose face i know though i have known his name for decades. This is one of the best presentations i have ever watched on Àgbàlętù. It is insightful, delightful and entertaining. Well done
Excellent interview with Mr Tao. I appreciate the explanation between the difference of OBEY and KSA’s music styles - Very informative and educative at the same time! Well done Agbaletu for bringing this to our doors. Ire Kaabiiti o!❤🎉🎉
Am always following you uncle Dele Agbaletu I can't say more to tell you that Almighty God will continue strengthen you for the most of the interview you did to all our Father, Uncle and friends in Music both in diaspora God bless IJMN 🙏 Amen 💕
What a wonderful interview? I wish him a fruitful journey in the vine yard of the Almighty. I hope he will be able to leave replicate himself by producing another Paul Tao
Agbaletu is the best. Paul Tao is G-O-A-T Guitarist in Nigeria, just like - Victor Uwaifor(RIP), Bob Aladeniyi, Bob Ohiri(RIP), Sunny Adeboye(RIP)...... among others. I can imagine the level of commitment/ logistics to produce these quality interviews. Please interview Bob Aladeniyi, he's still alive. Let's support Agbaletu financially to keep the platform. Dele, Display account details for cheerful donors and enthusiastic givers. Thank you all.
This Baba is too good. I respect his God given talent. Wow! Wow! I enjoyed every bit of this interview. Anchor, God bless you for bringing these talents to us.
Nice one Agbaletu for the indepth interview but please and please be giving us the pinch of their old performance video clip or their pictures. God bless Agbaletu
Agba, another great one. Mr. Tao is a big Beatles fan... they have a line in their song that invites the listener to imagine a world without borders. You may think he did not offer much, but you got to the bottom of what Mr. Tao truly believes. Great one!
Pastor Paul Morayo Tao (PMT) produced the first 3 albums of juvenile preachers' choir CAC OkeImole Agbowo, Ibadan. 1. Fere sise mi (isoro aye mi) 2. Onje toto simi 3. Majente
Wow! I remember 'Fere sise mi Olorun ayo mo de' and the very popular 'Ounje toto simi'. Brings back good memories. Let me search for Ounje toto simi againon RU-vid.
I love this Baba Paul Tao so much. He has influenced my guitar-playing skills so much in the past. Paul Tao has a unique tone that when you hear it, either with Baba Commander Obey, Ayewa International, one man called Animashaun or so, Paul Tao's skills and signature are unique and stand out. Glory be to God for his life that Baba is still alive to give us his personal experience. God bless you, sir. And God bless Uncle Dele Agbaletu for bringing all these Baba to his program. God bless you, sir.
I appreciate the discussion about the difference between Obey and Sunny’s music. One is melodious and the other is percussive. They are not to be compared but enjoyed and appreciated.
Agbaletu, having watched this video production, as usual, I give you credit for your professionalism; but, I disagree fervently with your comment which connotes that Ebenezer Obey should have gone ahead to praise-sing in honour of a particular type of masquerade at a party. The saving grace as per this video was that your guest, Mr Tao pulled out the Mic-Cord so that Obey did not betray his BORN AGAIN PUBLIC DECLARATION because of a cartonfull of an ''irresistible gift'' specially and hurriedly brought and kept beside Obey then to buy over his declared holy-stand with God. Agbaletu, note that we all owe God our intimacy through genuine declaration of striveness to be holy. PLEASE WATCH YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO RELIGIOUS COMMENTS. Your comment is likened to downgrading the Holy Qur'an before a fervent Muslim. Almighty God said we (and Dele Agbaletu inclusive) should be holy like Him. Also, our Lord (and Dele Agbaletu's Lord too) Jesus Christ said we must be born again. Therefore, your comments should encourage the praise-singing of the creator of fame, money and wealth, by a then striving born again Brother-Ebenezer-Obey who has seen it all and not to cause he Obey or you or anyone to worship or give praises to a non-God in place of the real God. Agbaletu, please go through the comments lists of your various recent productions and you will see that I am your passionate fan; therefore, please maintain your rising stardom and our Holy God will guard and guide you in Jesus name.
Ohhhhh! This is the man that was dancing with guitar in melody kan sese de tawon omo iwoyi njo,eje komode ko wa o,ko wa o,kagbalagba ko Jo oooo ko Jo ooooo, nice one
I just stumbled on this your channel. I wish I knew this when Baba YS Akinibosun (one of Fela's prolific Saxophonists) was alive. Kudos for this noble work. Baba Paul Tao is indeed a legend. Wish you could interview a man called Baba Keino, who I heard is the first set drummer in Celestial Church. He's old now but was really good even in his 60s when I last jammed with him.
TAO is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It means last or end. The first is Aleph, the first. In combination, it is used Aleph et Tao. The beginning and the End.
All the folks who have spoken about the nationality of Paul Tao got it very wrong.. He is neither from Ghana nor from Porto Novo. In Gospel Truth, he is from Lake Chad.
