Only real OG's been knowing Paul Wall dropping fire since 2000. I've been listening to him that long. Marshall who? There ain't no doubt the greatest white rapper of all time is Paul Wall. Eminem couldn't even lace Paul Wall's boots. It's such a shame that Paul doesn't get the credit he deserves. Eminem's out here putting out wack shit but it's only selling because of the name and Paul Wall's never left the game he's been grinding and putting out music consistently and so many people think he's just now making a comeback which is bullshit. This man's dropped an album every single year. A few years ago he dropped an album called the Houston Oiler and it was one of the best albums I've ever heard.
This is one of the best videos I've seen all year. Simple, straight to the point, no guns, plastic women, money phones, and all that other garbage. Keep doing ya thing PW!
How is this guy not significantly bigger blows my mind. And he gets better and better with time. He's got bars and flow today in a way that he didn't 20 years ago.
Mannnn Pauls always been underestimated, I age myself constantly because i prefer paul walls style to most of everything produced recently and most of the people i work with are young enough they missed out on paul. I introduce as many of them as i can to paul as possible.
when paul slammed the door of that old caddy i had a instant flash back to the when i was kid growing up in the late 80s and 90s i could feel the sound of that door closing
This is perfection, man. Long time fan, and as a DJ I've bumped many a Paul Wall tune in my day, but holy shit what a dope, feel good "just an older dude minding my business and being happy" vibe on this one. Much love!!
