Inspired by the future, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic worlds, science fiction and technology, Paul Wardingham is known for creating his own unique genre of instrumental metal guitar music (future metal shred) with his critically acclaimed and highly influential debut solo album “Assimilate Regenerate” (2011)
Wardingham quickly gained a legion of fans from all over the world and received praise from guitar legends Dino Cazares (Fear Factory and Divine Heresy). Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) and Andy James, among others for his inspiring guitar work, impressive compositions and production.

I’ve been listening to the album daily since getting my pre order download and can’t give enough praise to your latest effort Paul! I know I always sound like a super fan, and I am 😂, but I don’t freak out over musicians all that often. The production on this album is dare I say perfect. What’s so much fun for me when I listen to your music, it’s like when I was 14 years old sitting in my room half the day listening to every note of Jason Becker’s Perpetual Burn album or Malmsteen’s Rising Force album. At 47 years old I will intently and enthusiastically hang on every note you’re playing and it really gives me that same type of nostalgia of being genuinely excited to hear music. As you know, as we get older it’s “harder” to impress us these days musically, cinematically or otherwise. So listening to you hammer out this amazing art really brings an older dude like me a ton of happiness. Keep doing what you’re doing Paul, I can’t imagine a world without you brother!

Yoooooooooooo Prodigy Wardingham out here. Foreal tho, every facet of your musicianship blows me away. Obviously, the guitar playing is legitimately out of this world as always. Paul. Not sure you'll see this but I would absolutely kill for an album from you with screams/growls over top of your signature cyber metal. That said, this album is absolutely killer! It seems to actually get stronger the longer you listen to it for me. For me, definitely your strongest offering yet! Stay cyber!

Downloaded it this afternoon, fantastic stuff. Hard to pick just one fave but Electron Destablizer is brilliant. I was wondering, are you a fan of Gary Neuman? Reason I ask is there's a synth part in there that reminds me a bit of his newer stuff. Not saying you ripped him off, not at all, just curious if he's an influence? I'm sure I'll be listening to this one all weekend, great music.
