No. Absolutely not. The Jam were propelled by the energy and aggression of youth. You can't recreate that in your 60s. And if they tried to, it would be a parody. Especially in Weller's case. He's matured WAY beyond that mindset. It would be embarrassing to witness.
That weller haircut the interviewer is wearing is shocking. Men in their 50s should not copy that haircut, it’s on par with 80 year old blokes still donning a DA from the 50s.
Weller is looking like Iggy Pop minus the drugs. Age catches up with all of us. I like the guy but i lost interest after The Jam and the Style Council. Since then he hasn't reached those heights. As for Clint,he's always had bad haircuts,but he is beginning to look like a 1980s Arthur Scargill there
Regardless of his physical appearance the fact that he has put the demon drink down and left it down shows his true colors. I think fans would not mind the "private hell" of getting old when the other option would be insanity and death. There are so many people who are dependent on alcohol .and can stop .. But there are many who die... So can't tell us !
Johnny Uppal I was a big drinker for years myself and I fully understand it's just a shame to see him so old before his time when he has always looked so good.

I was born in 1966 and have been through the chapter and verse of the 3 fold disease..mental..physical and spiritual. Almost 22 years clean & sober..but I still take one day at a time. I see so many people with the problem. The simple way to sum it up is as "the only disease which will tell you that you do not have it !..
