I love how he said he remembers shooting the scene with Nina from 1x10, which was like ten years ago. But the when they played the scene from the finale he's like "I don't remember shooting this..." It shows how memorable the first seasons were for him.
It happens because this was the beginning of TVD's sucess. But it actually happens to everyone. There are things from 10 yrs ago that you remember well, and somethings from last week you forgot already. It basically means nothing interesting.
And how good the show was back then. S1-3 were the best ones and I wasn’t even a Stelena fan. It was just because the storylines were the best before fans started writing the show. I hate how it went downhill and some amazing characters were forgotten or treated like crap *cough* Tyler, Matt, Jer, Bonnie, Ric *cough*. It’s sad just cause they weren’t popular enough
@@Bloodyheroesandlegends It doesn't make any sense. Bonnie and Matt were present in the show till the end. It was TO that really did forget to develope its characters. S1 was the worst. It was 8 seasons based on 7 books.
I love you Paul and miss seeing you every freaking week. He's so right about the first few seasons, season 4 things started changing but whatever its still one of my favorites tv show ever.
I loved how The Vampire Diaries changed after season 4, the show could be much more than season 1,2 and 3, and this definitely was, thank Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. 😊

the part were he said “i want to keep in touch with nina and ian” made me so happy i feel like the cast has drifted apart so much and they all have beef like not all but nina and ian unfollowed eachother and like it makes me so sad and none of them are that active on social media and on interviews and it’s just like “ we’re have they been” and makes me really miss em like i wish they made a comeback in the show or like they all reunited in an interview
Nina is very active on Instagram. Paul posts often as well. And Paul is good friends with almost everyone. He has reunited with Nina & Ian 4-5 times previous year. Ian & Paul do conventions together all the time. He went on a hike with Candice recently. They can't be together all the time, they all have different lives but they are in touch.

Mélina Amory yeah i listened to Directionally Challenge with nina and she also mentioned how their friendship just growed throughout the years, yes they didn’t get along before which is understandable because that’s their first season of shooting TVD with each other but look at them now they are bestfriends nina supports paul and his wife and paul also supports nina in her career and i love their friendship so much😍

Yeah I really miss the subtlety of season one in spite of how dramatic it was lol. I loved parts of season 3 and especially season 2, as well as other episodes throughout the series. But I really think it would have benefited overall from taking a slower pace, like the already briskly paved first session
