I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and to this day...my favourite soundtrack ever. I have no idea why the movie/music didn't get more attention but I'm a HUGE fan. Xo
I agree , I would love to be in Winnipeg to some meet and greets and phantom Party , but´s too far , I am German and love Swan and Phoenix from this Place , trust me ;-)
My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies! I have a strong urge to look the other way this time, though, mysterious singing man.
Paul, I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. We ALL went to see it when it came out ... over and over. And I bought the DVD when it came out. Never a year goes by before it's time to watch it again.
I saw Paul Williams in concert in 1975 at Massey Hall in Toronto when I was 11. It was my very first concert ever. I was obsessed with Phantom of the Paradise and it's soundtrack. This was always my favorite song. I recall reading in a teen magazine when I was a teen, that Paul had written this song for his parents who had passed away when he was young. This song brought me so much comfort after my husband died in 2008. Paul is definitely an "old soul" to have been able to write such lyrics. ❤
È molto emozionante ascoltare Il mitico Paul Wiliamas , che canta cosi male, quasi come me.... Però lm apprezo molto di piu, e tutti sappismk perché.. La poesia non si compra
He said to the control room he was doing two more songs. He didn’t say two more songs from Phantom of the Paradise. This was the only song he performed from Phantom.
