Great video this is my wife Janean and my place we have to go to when we are in Myrtle Beach every September. We Probably eat there 3 times on our 20 day stay. Our favorites are the poppyseed dressing salad, old fashioned green beans, chicken, and pot roast.
I’m glad y’all have started doing more videos in Pigeon Forge. We go there often. We were there last weekend and will be going again in a couple of weeks. We always go to Pigeon Forge but rarely go into Gatlinburg. We have never eaten at Paula Deen’s. I cook country food at home so we rarely eat that kind of food when we go out, except for breakfast.
Great Video Derrick and Shawnasi. That looks like really good place to eat. The food looked really good. The next time that I am in the smokies I will have to eat there. It was really nice that you could meet up with friends and enjoy fellowship and a great meal together.
Always good eatin' at Paula's y'all! You had an excellent view of the Island. I always like sitting by the window in the area that you were seated. Glad that you were able to meet some of your subscribers. Love the ooey gooey cake and David usually gets the pudding or cobbler. Thanks for sharing!
I was planning to get the banana pudding at first, but when I realized they had a chocolate version of the ooey gooey cake, I decided to go with that. Yes, we had a great view and a great time.
We ate at Paula Dean's for the first time last September. It was very good. I got the banana pudding for my dessert. It was excellent. We're planning on eating there one day next week while we're up there. Enjoyed your video.
The catfish was the best I had ever tasted. The candied yams had a spice in them that made it the best tasting yams I have ever eaten. All the food was prepared very well. Looking forward to eating here again next week on our trip to Pigeon Forge.
yeah you have to order for the table, it's. different, but Aunt Granny Dollywood started doing that after 2020 when they reopened the restaurant, it's nice you got to meet pastor Dan and Kim
We went to the Paula Dean's down in Foley, AL. After waiting at the podium to be seated for over 15mins, we walked out along with the 2 parties behind us. Glad we did as I don't care for the whole group sharing food type of dinner. Then from what a lot of the locals say, it is (was) overpriced, bland Cracker Barrel experience. No wonder two or three of them have shut down on the Gulf Coast. They might do well in the mountains, but not on the gulf coast.
I would say they are priced about like other comparable places in this area. I agree, that I do not like the way they make everyone get the same thing. I am sorry that you did not have a good experience and had to leave. Have a blessed day!
I just wanted to mention that I am going to be in Calabash N.C. Around March the 11 or 12. I was wondering if you might be out there for a meet and great! I would love to take you to a few of my favorite places down there Dock’s bagels, and 2 of my favorite Italian deli’s.
We usually make our spring trip down there in May, over Memorial Day weekend. But with my mom's property needing someone to check on it, there is a possibility we may make a trip down sooner. It's a 4 1/2 hour drive for us, from where we live. I'm not sure exactly when we'll be down there. But I can let you know if it works out that way. We really appreciate your offer.
@@NCMemoryMakers that's good to know thank you for telling me!! My parents retired there about 10 years ago. We have gone to Ocean Isle Beach and rented a beach house for a week since I was a child. My whole life actually. We have family sprinkled from Livingston TN to Wilmington, Ocean Isle, and Calabash. But I live in Newburgh, Indiana. I am about 12 hours away and we always drive that route! The drive is what motivates the experience! My sister has a large family and there is only me, I make the drive with them once a year on spring break! Best time to go! Still no tourist and everything is easy to get to!! I would appreciate that very much! Thank you for making time to share and listen!!🙏🏻❤️
