They chose the wrong one, she should have gone through. Very good tone, accurate pitch, and she built dynamics of the song simply with the control and consistency of voice. I don't know what the judges are thinking becauset the one who beat her had pitch stability issues and inconsistent tonality. Paula makes three who in the last few weeks should have come out ahead of their direct competitors in the scoring, in my opinion.
I saw Almira's version of this song, it's also pretty good actually. This version of the song though is more accurate with musical play (Katy) where the song originated. Plus I love how clear the words are, not breathy, and how the consonants pops when needed. All in all both performances are great.
