If Koop didn't damage Hell's Kitchen property, he might have had a better chance of staying over Paulie, though it's also possible the producers wanted to keep Paulie around anyways for the drama. It's crazy that the only likeable guy left is Devin.

I agree with the chair thing hurting Koop's chances to stay in Hell's Kithchen, but I'd say it's more because both of his poor services were on the fish station.

What’s annoying is that Koop blamed Paulie(RIP) for his elimination, but overall, the whole Blue Team nominated Koop. So to blame Paulie for his screwups, and not take responsibility for failed communication & being an emotional wreck, Koop’s got no one to blame, but himself. Personally, it should’ve been a Double Elimination, since both of them sank the Blue Team.

I suspect it wasn't so much removing Koop because of the chair, but keeping Paulie knowing that another lady will be joining, thus he is easily going to be involved in more drama (which he was)

i don’t think coup sabatoged paulie, he wanted 2 more minutes but even if he had 2 more minutes it would have still been undercooked! However I think Paulie’s unprofessionalism in the dorms did him in, also his mistake wasn’t a cooking mistake, it was a common sense mistake.

0:16 from what we saw it looked like the red team was almost perfect the only blip was Matt forgetting an order of lamb throughout the service but there must have been moments that happened in the service which didn't make the final edit which was why Gordon said that they were far from perfect. Same with Devon mentioning the wellington that Paulie put up when Gordon asked him for nominations

I don’t think this gets mentioned enough, but I can only imagine the stress someone like Koop was under in this season. From what it sounds like, chefs get rushed around a lot from place to place, don’t get very much sleep, have to work in extremely heated conditions in the sets for the kitchens and such, and have to deal with the drama from each other. And even Koop himself felt the stress from his competitors, as well as moments like where he cut his finger so badly he barfed on himself and nearly had to be med-evac’d. So while I don’t condone him doing things like breaking chairs or making the statements he did about Paulie and the others, I can see the place where those feelings come from.

Look I get it, Koop was wrong to lose him temper. But considering that he had to put up with Paulie, Andrew, Matt, and Johnny, can you blame him for being so mad

So Koop gets eliminated for throwing a chair. I get it was wrong, but I can tell he wasn’t trying to hurt somebody or aiming for someone. Also he did admit that he’s not proud of himself for it Also, in season 10, Tiffany was screaming and cursing a blue streak while slamming a bottle off the table and throwing a hot pan on the floor. Then the next morning, she threatened to choke Barbie and got 2 inches from her face with the most nightmare inducing look in her eyes. She got no punishment for this, nor did production offer to kick her out like they did with Jackie And in season 13 episode 7, (during service) Aaron literally put his hands on Steve and physically pushed him off of his station, and Ashley was eliminated. How is this fair?

Good riddance to Koop, you can't be a head chef or anything if you go around smashing things like a 2-year-old.

Paulie (R.I.P.) is such a huge complainer, doesn’t blame for any of his mistakes, and acts like he’s the greatest chef ever, please.

I still don’t understand how Paulie is still here?? He should have gone much sooner and shouldn’t have got a black jacket imo

People are upset that Koop left over Paulie, but as far as I care the real shame is that the blue team was too low on members for this to be a double elimination.
