No. It says a lot about boxing. It says that ‘real’ boxing is declining bc it takes years for the promoters to make the fights we want to see and gives the fighters that deserve title opportunities when they deserve them. Instead we get fight 4-8 years after we want them. Also, there’s too many organization titles, and too many weight classes. Nobody can keep track of all that shit. The way the UFC does it is almost perfect. The only thing I’d change is make a 165lb division and make the 170lb division 175lbs instead. Then all the former Lightweights turned Welterweights can go to 165lbs and some of the smaller Middleweights can go to 175lbs. I think that would be a huge improvement.
