I ain't even Irish and I do believe this is just EPIC. This vid should have a couple million views and I am wondering why it does not. As old as this video is, I am only just now seeing it for the first time ... and I;ve watched a lot of wedding dance videos over the last few years. Why so few views to this gem, I do not know. Wow. These guys were awesome.
Just came across this - WOW! I love all the Michael Flatley shows and these guys would give his dancers a run for their money, absolutely brilliant 👍👌😘
Yeah, Flatley had a big head and claimed that he created River Dance, but really it was just one sequence or routine. He left the show just a few months into its run. "Creative Differences". His replacement was just as good, if not better
The only reason 90% of world know about irish dancing is flatley. The only reason these people are doing this dance is flatley, he choreographed it. He brought irish dancing into main stream, he started it all
They are bosses, staying on beat with no music. As an American enjoying this, I have to ask, is this dance just known by Irish people like the macarena, cotton eye joe or the electric slide? Are these guys professionals? If you know, please clue me in! They're amazing
These are professionals. Don't expect this at your normal Irish wedding. You're lucky if you get one or two relatives who can dance a we jig for everyone. This is something else
As an Irish fella that plays trad music, I just don’t get dancing (of any kind) without music. If there’s no music it’s just like a military regimen. It’s hardly dance? Or is it? To me, it’s kinda strange without music.
I wish people wouldn’t scream so much I want to hear the taps of their feet, that is the music of sound, it’s like they think they need to get the attention on them. They could save it for the applause when they are done but audiences just make too much noise anymore. I think it’s rude.
It's a natural human sound of appreciation. Have a drink, relax and enjoy the dancing. That's what it's about. If you want music, then go listen to music, don't watch dancers.
