I remember when jersey shore first came out in 2009 me and my wife were going to book him to come to our little city in Michigan and throw a party he was going to charge $1500. Now he charges $40,000 a gig 🤦‍♂️😂😂😂

Being in high school when jersey shore came out was interesting lol most of us hated on the cast at first but by the end of season 2, it was must watch tv and everybody had become fans of at least a couple of the cast. The day after a jersey shore episode, you couldn't escape people talking about it the next day at school lol it was always a friday the next day after jersey shore aired new episodes so it was such a routine lol I graduated in june 2011 so the second season aired through the first semester and the third season aired through the second semester of my senior year and its impossible to tell the story of my senior year without it lol spirit week had meatballs and GTL all over it...the cringe and the nostalgia looking back

I visited Seaside last month. I grew up in Toms River (the town you drive thru to get to seaside). The owner of the store bought out the store next door, knocked down the wall to make it one big store, and the connected store is nothing but Jersey Shore merch. They made locals’ lives hell. Like tourism wasn’t bad enough. If they were filming in the store and you wanted to go in, you had to cough up $25. Damn shoobies. The owner of the store also owns the shore house. If you want to rent the house for a weekend during tourist season, it’ll cost you a cool 2-3k. Sooo many more shoobies bombarded our streets because of them. (Shoobies are what locals call tourists. Inspired by people who wear socks with sandals)

Is all this true ? Cuz Google says they were paid that first season. Like 2k an episode.

Well i could tell this was all total bs the second they mentioned vansissa. 😅im only going to say this once cuz i never see anyone mention vannisaa explained her side and they lied going to places they knew she worked and she lived on the boardwalk full time! I didn't see this dude in years because I hadn't watched the show since they went to Italy but just before Family Vacation I didn't know it was really Pauly D's it page and I said something to the equivalent of this doesn't even look like pauly D and this is a wannabe dude trying to look like pauly D because mind me I didn't even know he grew a beard and chin hair and his response was something rude AF. Anyway, after that I knew what kind of meat ball he really was and never liked him after that. Geezus, I really thought someone was pretending to be him. Lol

A quick Google search will tell you they got paid for the first season. They were paid nowhere near what they did in the other seasons, but they were in fact paid. In fact, Pauly D was was paid the most.
