Out of the pauper decks I have, the one I most enjoy is ephemerate tron. Which is probably a worse deck than Jeskai ephemerate and familiars. Though I haven't played those decks, the thing about it is having a "toolbox control" deck with a "combo" finish. Of attacking with mulldrifters, ghostly flicker two mnemonic walls, to bring back the gostly flicker and moments peace. Also you can hellbent them with Dinrova Horror or put lands back into their hand or do the Stonehorn loop out of the sideboard.
@@milesstevenson1858 I can understand not running it with tithing blade being so prominent in the format. However, having it as a 1 of main or side can be back breaking. Had a match where i never hit an artifact land and bottom Kenku of a brainstorm. Game 2 I slam Kenku turn 3 then ephemerate it turn 5 and just absolutely slaughter my opponent who told me after the game thet took out all their blades lol.
i feel like this would be better with Razortide Bridge (the UW one) instead of Rustvale Bridge because most of your spells are blue, so you would want to maximize your access to that color. also, i'm not sure you should have more than one of each nonblue basic, since none of your red or white cards have double pips
Indestructible artifacts lands synergizes better with R to do a turn 2 cleansing wildfire which is one of the strongest plays of the deck by far. If you draw a WU artifact land then you need 3 pieces to do the same: the artifact land, a red source and the wildfire. Since you are not encouraged to play a lot of tapped lands (and you play 8 just to optimize the wildfire) you better stick with just the x/r ones. That why people doesn't (generally) play the WU artifact land in this engine
you definitely want a heavier count of rustvale bridge than razortide, as TheDevlain explained - however, I do personally think you're right to an extent, and I'm currently trying 3x rustvale 1x razortide - haven't played any games with it yet (only picked up the deck about 2 weeks ago :D ) so I'll figure out how it feels - but yeah, looks like this manabase is relatively stock (I'm on 1x more island and no ash barrens as well, but I'll try the ash barrens soon)
You target your indestructible land with cleansing wildfire, because they're indestructible they can't be destroyed. However, that land was still targeted and "destroyed" cleansing wildfire doesn't fizzle. So you do the rest, which is search for a basic and put it onto the battlefield tapped and draw a card. It's one of my favorite interactions in pauper.
I presume this question is whether you would get the land: the way it would need to be worded to stop it from working is "if a permanent was destroyed this way, [text]" - because this line of text is (crucially) missing, the cleansing wildfire is a cantripping rampant growth :D
