I've been very interested in molten gatekeeper as well as broodscale and evolution witness. Attempting a golgari build with broodscale and evolution witness and a tremors build with chrysalis and molten gatekeeper. Sadistic Glees are sold out at the moment so the broodscale brews will have to wait 😭
Awesome deck, and nice games :) The only permanent interaction that you can get with Rumble is (to my knowledge) Warbriar Blessing. I am sure it's not good enough to deserve a slot :( As you said, snow lands and Skred is an option. Going for artifact lands and Gal Blast might be fine too, even though you expose yourself to more hate 😅 tbh if I had to build a version, I would replace the fetchlands, get rid of the swamps, remove the two myr to get two Chromatic sphere or Energy refractor, and get the black mana only this way.
The not having black main seems reasonable, I mean walls gets away with it with just as many blue sources in the deck. The Jund version of the deck has really taken off and it seems better than mine, but I just Myr Retriever to be good.
Yeah, the two Myr are the easy cuts. Evolution Witness seems good enough to add. Wouldn't mind adding the 4th Bequeathal as that seems the best permanent to return for card advantage.
True, didn't think of that. Think I still like the Tri-Cycle land more just because it comes into play untapped. Also most of the time my creatures are 3+ power if I am mid-game so unsure how many times it would actually work.
That works for the Broodscale line but not for the Myr Retreiver line, as it doesn't produce any mana. Also the fact you can't hit Torch off of Rumble means you may mill it accidentally.
Yeah but it doesn't really do anything by itself. At least the Gatekeeper can block. The main draw is that I can dump it off Looting or Rumble for pseudo card advantage.
Hey my brewer friend! Big fan of your content here. I just wonder if Vines of Vastwood would solve your mirror/walls situation as it can target both your and oponents' creatures. Also, if you're looking for a permanent card there is Lignify...
I don't think vines that that much against walls as it only stops freed and they can bypass with Galvanic Alchemist. I think the best option is just some instant speed interaction. Snuff Out is the easiest solution.
There are a lot of other versions heavier on black and have Dispute. I really wanted to just focus the dig engine to be Rumble and Looting and wanted as many hits on rumble as possible which is why I am running Bequeathal instead of Dispute.
