If you don’t like pets flying near you, then Virgin should have designated pet flights for all of us who would rather sit beside a dog or cat than a human. Much prefer to fly in a plane full of cocker spaniels than people 🐶💕😊
@@DavidDunkerley-it3fy YES, thanks for your support 🤗 let’s face it, some people have BO that would make an onion cry 🤣… sitting within a 5 metre vicinity of them is like being near a toxic waste dump. 😷
This is normal here in North America to have pets in carriers under the seat. In all the times I've flown, never has there been an issue with a pet on a flight. They actually serve to lower the stress of some fliers.
All the negative comments are from people who obviously haven’t had the fortune to own a pet. They’re talking about flights from Sydney to Melbourne (1.5 hrs) I think having a toddler or a screaming child on board is more annoying and sometimes smelly and people don’t even question it. Obviously if the person can afford to pay for a dog / car to fly with them they certainly pay for their pets to be groomed and clean So common let’s catch up with the rest of the world and allow dogs not just in flights, but shopping centres and cafes 🐶🐈
The biggest issue that needs to be raised is allergies after the flight. The plane will have new people onboard and someone has to sit in that seat. They could be allergic to cats or dogs but people don't think about that. Are the crew going to tell you when you check in that a dog or cat was under your seat? I doubt it.
There are SO many reasons why this is a bad idea! Some people are allergic to cats and dogs, the bad smells, the noise of barking dogs and meowing cats, etc.
And how many pets pass away due to this, when left in the heat. Many humans I have had to sit with would have been better suited to the hold. Much prefer a pet.
The only animal that is allowed to be on the plane as a service dog for people that need them for medical or for visually impaired or for their disability. Sorry but service dogs have the rights pets no.
