Rick wouldve offered $500, and he'd make it clear he would be taking a risk.

I had a Line Drive in my collection for many years and loved the game until finally sending it to a new home. I've owned and played other Pitch and Bat pinball baseball pinball machines and for sure this was my favorite one out of them all. $3750 was on the high end for a Line Drive, but well worth it since it was restored and playing 100%. and looking beautiful too, if you were in the market for one. It is a very fun game with plenty of bat power which the owner could dial up for more or less power. The electronic sound board in the game is awesome which produced firecrackers sound off along with the crowds roaring to homeruns and grand slams. There is also a animated light show on this games back glass of firecrackers lighting up in the sky....you got to see this in action! I miss my Line Drive, but enjoyed it a great deal and it brought me so much fun while playing it. It is a fantastic game by Williams in the late 1970's.

My dad rebuilt one of these when I was a kid. Went on vacation to Myrtle Beach probably nearly 25 years later and saw a whole wall filled up of them. Had to drop a roll of quarters into it.

i played a version of this in the 90s. probably not the same company. but this one gave out crappy baseball cards as rewards.

As people said. Hes a good salesman but it worth that. I get deals all the time for half working pins for as low as 200 bucks and can sell over a 1000 because you fix it right. Its a dying art and people who dont know how to repair arcades/pins just sell them to get space for their home. I think this waa a fair deal and im sure he found a collector to sell to as these baseball machines are well sought after. Still trying to fix mine, been two years but looking for an authentic bat for it. Cant ghetto rig it and ask for a high price so its a waiting game.

I passed on an excellent condition line drive from san antonio about a decade ago. Would be funny if it made its way to Austin. My seller was asking $700.
