I feel the same way when Rick asks people coming into his PAWN SHOP with some collectible or antique (especially when it is really big) "So what are you looking to do with this?" Oh, you know, I just wanted to show it off... I though about juggling it... I was going to eat it but wanted an audience... I wanted to see how far you can throw it... I wanted to take it on a date but wanted your blessing first!

Well, my guy, you did bring it to a pawn shop. You should realistically be expecting to get half of retail, unless it's a fast selling, in demand item. Even then you're not getting close to full MSRP.

The seller did the right thing by not selling it. He could get more money on the open market rather than a pawn shop. Take it to a specialist auction. Me personally, I would keep it, have it professionally framed, & mounted on my wall. The value will go up I over the years.
