@@oldnite3414 i don't have "proof" bro i'm not a part of producing the show, nor do i have documents or interviews from the show's cast when it was in it's first season. it's called conjecture. do you think a professional pawn shop would buy a fake document signed by Napoleon? one that is so clearly fake, it looks like it came from a gift shop? does Corey's reaction seem genuine? like oh no i spent lots of money on a fake document? or do you think it was scripted to add history in to a show on the history channel

Any time they pay big money for something without having an expert look at it, you can bet it's a scripted bit for the show. Even if he did some cursory internet research he probably would have learned that the original is in a museum, therefore this must be a copy.

@@justinedwards5021 We do know. People lined up during shooting with stuff they wanted to sell. The producers would work with them on how much to ask for and what to settle for. In some cases the producers would give people the items they're trying to sell and give them a backstory.

It is not that Rick himself never made these types of mistakes. I rather see Cory of lived and learned from his past mistakes in the pawn business than ever dealing with a narcassist that never would admit to a mistake if his life depended on it. A old show with a valuable lesson to learn here.

3:02 Battle of Austerlitz .... well the so-called professor didn't tell whole truth about this battle (I know quite a lot about that, because Austerlitz, nowadays "Slavkov u Brna" is about 17 km from the place I live). This battle is called "The battle of three emperors" and Napoleon fought there not only armies of Austria, but Russia as well and won. Each year there is a reconstruction of this battle in Slavkov.
