Why is it so hard to believe that there are some people on television who are actually intelligent and do read, enjoy reading, and enjoy learning about something other than themselves?

It’s not a stage, it is a real pawn shop that they do own, but on the show they only show the people who bring in “interesting” items they are going to sell or pawn
I completely agree. The way rick lowballs every single item that comes into his store is ridiculious especially when his own experts appraise an item for lets say 12,000 and hes like i'll give you 2,000 i have to laugh.

Oh an chumlee & Cory got surgery an both of them lost 100 pounds, then bodybuilding ( .com ) supplied them both with protein powder, shaker cups, protein bars, workout gear. Cory got a lap band to control how much he eats & chumlee got his stomach re-sized to the size of a lemon.
Yea, that suitcase most likely cost less than 200$ to build, why the hell would he expect 3k for it. Anyone could use google to build it, but no one else does because it's pointless. I've seen better model rockets built with scrap for under 5$.

I live in Las Vegas just moved from Brooklyn Ny, I went to the pawn shop, I met chumlee, he owns a candy shop and rick owns a bar across the street from the pawn shop (next to candy shop) and also the pawn shop is a lot smaller in person, I feel like he owns a private pawn shop somewhere else in Lv.
Exactly... One of my best friends is a pawn broker and he tells me stories like this all the time. The rocket is only worth what someone is willing to buy it for. Idiots look up values of their junk on the internet and actually believe that someone is going to walk up to them and hand them cash, it doesn't work that way.

You could do the same with regular oxygen and acrylic. Maybe it wouldn't have the specific impulse that this does but as a desk piece it would do the same thing and be way simpler.
You guy are missing the point. This was uploaded by the guy himself, Zach B., to show his accomplishments, his work and I’m impressed. I personally would have given up early on trying to understand how rocket science works, he didn’t. He succeeded and found his way to getting on t.v. and he’s so young. On one thing Rick is 100% right. Who's gonna want it? A rocket scientist will build his own! And regular people will want something that 1) makes a bigger flame and 2) has the ability to lift off stuff from the ground.

To the people thinking rick is trying to rip this guy, you guys do realize that theres only a small no2 tank a regulator and an ignition switch that would most likely be powered by a 9v battery and an arduino the fuel is 20 cents worth of acrylic and maybe 50 cents in no2 held in place by maybe 50 bucks worth of aluminum and checkerplate in a shitty suitcase that you could buy for 5 bucks from the salvation army, 100 is very fair, 3000 is absolutely insane
