Pro tip: save spent flower pellets in a mason jar. Once the jar is half filled I fill it the rest of the way with whiskey and occasionally shake daily for 2 weeks, stored in a cool dark place. After two weeks strain out the whiskey into another jar. You've got yourself a lifetime supply of tincture. A few drops under the tongue do the trick

Hiya bro, great video. As you mentioned towards the end of the video, start off with a lower setting for the terps, then up the temperature as the flavour drops. Don't forget half way through the session, to open the oven door and give your herb a quick stir with a tooth pick or dab tool. And don't forget to store up all the AVB (already vaped bud) and use it for edibles as it is now decarboxylated.
Pax 3 is great. Give it a stir half way because it works on contact heat, the green up the top will go down the bottom unless you want to waste your flowers.
If you drill a small hole in the oven lid over the vapor hole you will create more airflow. I used a 1/16th drill bit and drilled holes in all my oven lids.
I love my pax3! I always have it on level 2 heat setting and the half oven lid so I don't need to use too much herb per session. I would say the only down side is the proprietary charger (what no usb3?) but that is a pretty minor downside
Have a lightly used one if someone wants it.....never could get the hang of it. Prefer my mighty+ for dry flower with a whip and water piece works awesome 👌🏼
I’ve had one of these for about 6 months, it’s in a bronze colour, I find setting 2 to start, then up it to 3 is good, really terpy but near the end it starts tasting like hay lol there’s also a better mouth piece with it, and also different caps for the bottom if u use the metal one you can put in shatter, rosin, hash, kief etc
Take a look at the Arizer Air Max as well! usb-c, 6750mah battery (huge) comes with a bong attachment, and a reputable brand name. Love arizers extreme q as well, great volcano alternative. Keep making great content man!
Air solo 2 is a well built metal vape that uses a glass tube to cool the vapour and give it a better flavour and works better packed looser its uses a tiny amount of bud, temperature can be changed by 1 degree increments and costs around £120-£140, but is not as discreet as the pax it has a 3 hours battery life and faster charger, it can also be used while charging which most vapes don't have this function
I absolutely hate my Solo 2. Tiny hits, long reheat times, insane and complicated cleaning required with the glassware. Totally regret it and ive lived with it for 4 years, barely using it. Finally moving to a Pax plus, Crafty+ or Mighty. Undecided so far.
+1 for the bud kups, absolutely essential for the PAX, plus you can load six kups and you’re golden for a nice discreet day out. The flat mouthpiece is the best by far 👍🏻💚

Been solely using a storz and bickel mighty daily for well over 18 months now (for medical usage too) can highly recommend but invest in a car charger lol

I wish the PAX wasn't as expensive, makes it so hard to recommend. That said, it's a decent vape imo. Portability is INSANE, taste is fine, temps are fine, battery is fine, super easy to just hand to someone who's never vaped. Definitely not as efficient as other vapes, but it's a nice all-rounder. Would love to see more dry herb vape content here!
Nice review thank you for sharing. My main set up is the Mighty with a glass water piece/bong. I find it refreshing and easier to take bigger rips at higher temps
I have one of these and encountered the same thing, I bought a half pack oven lid which has a deeper lid and less chamber so you don't have the problem. If you find them on sale they're worth it, I found it for £120 which I think is a steal.
Just an update, Two days in and I am loving this device, I come from the magic launch box user and they too are great but not as easy to use. Still learning to dial it in for my perfect hit but it won't be long.

@@StizzyM1 hi mate, I've had a solo 2 for ages now. It's pretty good and has a good battery. Needs to be close to full temp for a bigger hit as the lower temp doesn't produce much vapour. It goes upto I think 220c.
For bud I skip 1 and go to two -three - then stir it with a toothpick then burn the green off with four (two and three should progressively taste the terps and brown it 4 will burn it all off after the dark brown transition after level 3 Starting at three or 4 ruins it For wax I go 3 then 4 And sometimes Waite to insert to concentrate cartridge till green in level 3 or level 4
The thing about electronic vapes is the battery dies far too quickly in them, when that happens, it’s done! I’ve went through a good few of them. I use a dynavap now but I mostly just use it as a one hitter pipe most of the time now lol.
Pax is nice, but I really love the dosing capsule size for the POTV One and Lobo. If I only want a little I can only use a little, if I want more I can load up 2 capsules and back to back em. I don't have to use much for ideal performance.
The xmax v3 pro is very good and inexpensive would recommend you check it out. the pax might as well be a paper weight I had one for two years and it uses a crap ton of bud and cooks very unevenly and inefficient and if you think the pax tastes good, the v3 with the glass mouthpiece/wpa tastes much cleaner and flavorful.
I didn’t like pax so much but I love this set up. Have broken glass along the way but it gives best flavour imo. Also throw away the plastic mouthpiece that comes with it and get a glass mouthpiece. Much nicer experience and easier to clean than the stock set up
My problem with dry herb vapes is that they always make me sneeze for some reason. Like the terps really hit my sinuses and it's like I've sniffed a bunch of pepper
(my 2 cents) a Pax 3 is for micro dosage., so discreet can be used anywhere at anytime., 15-20 seconds max. (2 hits when on, turn off 1 last vapor hit, done) ... only downside Cannabis stinks. major upside, after you've vaped the crystals, sprinkle the balance of the flower on food or mix in a fruit drink. (no waste, no other edible required)
I take my PAX everywhere and it's the best all around portable. I carry it with a smoothee full of fresh herb- that way I can pack the PAX 3 oven eight times without touching my grinder :)
Did you purge the vape before you used it. If you use it fresh out the box without cleaning it and doing a few empty chamber runs it taste like shit no matter how good the vape is
I have a pax 2 but got sick of cleaning it and sucking really hard to get any vapour. The storz and bickel mighty is imo the best portable. I’d recommend putting it up to full heat like the volcano for the most dense clouds
It's a decent enough vape, but it's the constant cleaning that ruins it for me. It's not like glass where you can just chuck in some ISO and salt and your done, its fucking tiny metal tubes, stinky resin hands and pipe cleaners after a day of use. pretty much every day. portability, heat up time, functionality is great. Just needs a redesign for the PAX 4 to me more easily maintainable, like a mixture of the all glass on the Arizer etc with the portability of the PAX would be amazing

Solo 2 is still the best in my opinion..had most of the vapes and still find solo 2 is better all round. Mainly terpsy hits long hits long battery spare glasses loads of attainments.
U gotta be careful when buying a vape coz if there cheap they can b bad for health. U want a pathway that's is clear from the electronics otherwise u get heavy metal poisoning. Personally I wouldn't get anything cheaper than a pax. I've had my mighy years and cloud evo for a couple of years.

Use my pax 3 daily. Only thing I ever had an issue with is one led went. Even vaped in front of police and they had no idea. I’m talking within a metre of 2 police officers. I wasn’t worried as I vape medical but a great vape. If you currently use about half a week. Get a pax half your bill 🙌🙌🙌 double your chosen affects
@@Jojohumf when using it not really smells more like popcorn Imo. And towards the end of the session maybe smells a touch burnt. (The smoke) But only if your really stringing it out. If you have fresh flower in it it’s about the same as a grinder in ya pocket until it’s heated. If youve ever smelt decarbed weed it’s identical. It’s a good vape I upgraded to pax plus now. I still recommend something like this to medical or recreational wanting that next level flavour and “experience”
@@Jojohumfdefinitely, it's not a smell proof vape and a newly pack oven will already get you some looks, but when you start hitting it is the worst, still nowhere near as a joint so I can smoke and chill anywhere and it's much more discreet anyway but yeah it's smelly. And for the vapor smell, it's kinda like a candle, light but still smelly

Pax 3 is your Apple computer of the Vaporizer world. is it the best? No. Does it look premium, small and have great support and warranty? Yes, yes it does. People love to hate it though.
I never wanted to buy a pax due to its shit reviews, but I have been looking for a propper vape that allows me to , as you refer to sipping. This review totally changed my mind on this vape, and might consider buying this in the future.
It can be a little annoying to clean that's why I got budkups off Amazon. That way you mostly just clean the cups instead of having to actually clean the inside. But occasionally you do have to use a pipe cleaner just to get the tar out of the air way. Other than that I like it but it's the only vaporizer I've ever had.
@@gabrielmanfroi3496 if you can get the improved plate or budkups for the Pax3 then go for that simply because it's much easier to carry and for stealthy use. For large hits then the Utilian is better. The Pax3 is harder to clean and you will need a box of pipe cleaners and rubbing alcohol, whereas you can clean the Utilian with a cotton bud and rubbing alcohol and it helps that the mouthpiece comes off. The Pax3 has a long narrow tube that runs the length of the device and it can get clogged up with thick oil. To summarise : Pax3 - high maintenance, hits hard and fast but the draw takes some getting used to and has a decent warranty. Utilian : less maintenance, hits a little slower but the draw is easier, and it's cheaper than the Pax3. Warranty is shorter.
@@gabrielmanfroi3496 you are very welcome. I use both as I load both and hit them with around a 10 minute gap before bed to help me get to sleep and stop the covers from hurting. BTW, the Utilian charges in around a quarter of the time it takes for the Pax3. The only vaporizer I'm disappointed with is the Arizer V-tower as although it works I don't seem to get much vapor when I exhale, and that's with an after market glass bud tube that takes it closer to the heating element. I rarely use it unless both of my daily drivers are out of battery and I need a quick hit.
