19:41 Latest rule for this section, per updated publisher rules, is a hybrid of your two described options, counting only armies of one coalition. Rule: “Do not use Wakhan’s pragmatic loyalty to determine who rules in a region; instead, when assessing whether Wakhan is competing for control of a region, count her tribes and only the most numerous Armies of a single coalition in that region towards the number of her ruling pieces.”

Nailed it! Great video ! A couple of minor corrections : at 23:52 when you talk about the errata for ruling a region: don't count all the "clay" for Wakhan, just the 'most numerous' of a single coalition; so for Wakhan that would be a total of 4 (not 7) - i.e. her one Tribe plus 3 for the most numerous British armies. Your explanation is otherwise spot on; great comments. On the Move action: at 33:14, you're right that she only moves as many Armies as there are Tribes in the region she's moving to; but it's not just your tribes, it's all tribes. Since there are 2 tribes there (one of yours and one of hers), she would move 2 if she could; think of them as 'defenders' for her own tribes. On the Betray action: I like your house-rule; we're actually considering a change for the next printing on the Betray action to tighten this up whilst still trying to stick to the KISS principle. Looking forward to your play-through. Subscribed!

This video and the playthrough are fantastic! I played my first ever game of this last night, and your videos were key to getting me interested in and equipped for it. Super clear explanations, reiterating all the various points was very helpful, and just seeing things in action goes a long way to making it click with me. Thank you for these videos. I'm 100% subscribed :)

Yeah, the tricky thing about card priority, and especially for Betray, is that it's a hierarchical tie-breaker, so if feels like it wants to be: betray an opponent's card; are there multiple? betray one of the favored suit; still not decided? etc. I think you're right that the calculation should change somehow if "opponent's card" is not an option. You could maybe just sub in the Discard priority list if she determines she wants to betray her own card.

34:05 This contrasts with the previous rule. Wakhan would not lose the region because he would also add the Russian Army in his favor. This game seems like a barrel that you fix on one side and falls apart on the other.

09:08 Are we sure that, since he can't buy the rank 2 card, he doesn't skip the action and go to the next one on his AI card? The card does not say "the highest possible political card." Maybe I'm wrong

Just a question... on the move action, for the number of armies to move, doesn't the wakan count all tribes in a region including her own?

I can't hear you... :(

And another thing, but maybe im wrong. That flow chart happens only, in a case of a radicalize action i belive. And if im correct, only in a case when the radicalize action doesn't have any specific instructions...

Thanks for the comment Istvan - I think I understand what you're referring to, but in the specific flow chart I am using the non-radicalize actions are included - that's what the left side of the decision tree illustrates, specifically in the box "Are the conditions for the action met and can the action affect the game state." This is referring to all of the actions that might appear on the AI card.
