What an embarrassment of a prosecution. Everybody involved with the prosecution of this case and their so called witness should never ever be allow to work at any government office local or federal.
I watched most of the cross examination of the house witnesses. Every one of them was literally shredded by the defense with either their own notes or text messages. Some of these people are lawyers and didn’t expect this evidence to come out against them? What a political hit job this whole thing was.

He seems to have been told in plain english to conduct the investigation and let the chips fall as they may and did nothing for weeks. Those arent disputed or made up information, he admitted it. Ive watched just this video on this dont even know what Paxton is accused of doing but its pretty clear by this guys testimony that he was told to proceed and find the truth of the matter, and he dithered.

I don’t know either way..but if Nate Paul was making a claim that the search warrant was modified it seems that it’d be easy enough to go to court that issued it and compare whatever it was that he’s disputing.

This bloke asking the questions is very aggressive. If I were in the jury I wouldn't be in favour of him. He has no defense for his client so he tries to win by fast talking arrogance.
this type of defense attorney isn't unusual. been on a couple juries. what bothered me here is the judge is not saying anything about the aggressiveness but maybe that is because the attorney has not crossed the line. the judges on the court cases i have been a jurist on stopped any aggressiveness immediately and also the prosecution attorneys were quick to point out over aggressive attorney questioning. so there is a fine line
I can only say, if I sat in a jury, the defense lawyers would seriously antagonize me - which isn’t good for their client. Each and every one of them is highly unsympathetic, greasy and rude.

Paxton's lawyers are obnoxious. They come across as bullies. With normal juries, that would be a problem but these senators may be the same kind of obnoxious. This is riveting!
