I should probably get out there and do some looking around one of these weekends. We live right here in the Yuba City/Marysville/Grass Valley area in California where gold mining was a huge thing back in the days. Pretty sure there's still plenty around. Thanks for the videos Mark.

All that fine sand and no fine gold sure gives the impression the bag was salted/seeded.

I don't disagree, however, I only process the top tray quickly. I will run the fines thru my gold cube later.

Well I was wrong about the next bag. Seems like you did better when you went and got pay dirt yourself but then you and the expense of going there.

Kinda odd how you ended up with enough gold to cover half the cost if the dirt two times in a row. panning and finding is fun though.
