The manager will leave within 3 minutes ( on overkill) of a player entering the storefront or completing "Case the Jewelry Store". 2. Taking any bag triggers the lead guard to patrol 3. "If I restarted the game ain't nothin' to it, Payday 3 made me do it"
Nice vid! did this the other day. Late comment but Glitch protocol if you don't know yet is a super dumb strong perk for stealth if you haven't started to use it by now. prob the strongest perk imo. 60 sec cd is too low for that kind of power.
Nicely done! I was annoyed by this one youtuber whos claiming "solo stealth all loot" while only hauling the vip area loot. That guy made an excuse in their description: "thats all you can get for stealth" but you just owned that fraud by uploading this gem of a video! Thanks for making this video man you're the GOAT!
@@plzdonteatmyturtleilikemyt1432 Payday 2 used to have a pop-up on the HUD whenever you stole something, for example if you stole a small jewelry, or secured a bag, it used to tell you how much money it's worth on the screen. That's what he means.
@eduardotoporoski8015 I wanted to do this but it didn't work in my game, when I made everyone stand up at once only one followed me, the rest stood still and didn't move, then I had to order them to get down on the floor again
Wild run never had a cam on the forever radio guard and he never walked through anywhere while you were looting or had civs tied in his exact pathing. Insane. nice job.
If the gem is the last item you will secure, by all means, otherwise just pick it normally otherwise lurking guards (at least on higher diff) will see the broken glass and go into searching mode, same goes for windows, cameras, and doors.
Nice stealth, i cant do this one without killing 3 guards and you made it look very ez, also you can transport two hostages at the same time, human shield then yell at one to follow you
You really dont have to kill anyone except for camera guy, but even he isnt much of a threat if you have camera loop twice. One for the hallway and the last one for vip room.
me and my buddy did this heist overkill (with docs) and clearing the front by looping all the cameras in the front, and having someone unmasked sneakily just steal all the jewelry and throw it into the scanner room. definitely an experience
Awesome video !! btw he Devs said that they will add a new skill called "transporter" in which you can take 2 bags in the same time prolly is gonna be a game changer .
damn that was impressive! had a similar time when doing gold & sharke for the very first time, actually managed to do it solo stealth (on normal though) as well. But holy shit I was exhausted after that. Can imagine you feeling the same getting closer and closer to your goal with every bag moved. awesome job!
You should try to do it solo stealth on Overkill, it actually isn't that much more difficult on Overkill. In my opinion, Gold and Sharke has to be the easiest Overkill stealth mission, you don't even need to mask up!

The civs real dont care about the gun in their face do they 🤣If you want them to get down on the floor quicker just melee them since it does no damage and they insta get to the floor. Just a little tip :D Nice run also! :)
Thanks, bro. I noticed that when I yell at them they fall to the floor at the same time, and if you hit one when there are other civilians around they can run away and you can't catch up with them in time.
I feel this, I did Gold and Sharke Overkill got no experience because of the stupid challenge system. Honestly if they fix that system this game would be awesome. Also on this one I don't understand why you can't just force the shop closed when you clear the inside. Prevent civies from entering. This kind of reminds me of GO Bank from PD2.
@Ramirez77 it's on overkill difficulty, it's not supposed to be a cake walk On the lower end of difficulties, sure there's no reason not to let you close front door but it's supposed to add to the challenge
Getting the achievements in payday 2 is definitely worth it, I hope you can get those charms because right now a lot of players are having problems, the developers haven't fixed this bug yet.
Just did it with a friend on stealth ovk. Pretty easy. One carries bags to the van and brings u the jewels to you for cleaning in casing mode while the other does the job masked. I was kinda scared the lead guard would come there, but it turns out he just stands in vip area for a while and then leaves.
You can have the unmasked guy do the whole front. Just make sure you have rush and the perk that makes civilians ignore you if you got rush. Then you just need to keep an eye on the guard
A tip for all your stealth heisters. grab the "hack a radio" Perk, it is essential and the best perk you could get. Its a get out of jail free card and lasts the whole heist. every 60 seconds you can hack a guards radio, getting cuffed soon? hack is radio, he suddenly forgets he was after you. Dont wanna wait forever to be led back to the public area? Hack a radio. Masked up? guard being a problem? Hack a radio.
@@postomnis6134 oh I see, I thought they were supposed to go back to whatever they were doing before they detected you. That's my mistake then. Maybe it's not a bug but I feel like the search isn't supposed to go on forever?
@@Rae-Rudi2357 when guards go in "searching" mode, it stays forever, or until alarm goes off. they also go in "searching" when you trigger one more pager than authorized. or also I believe, if you run out of sight after a camera spot you.
If you get the skill where you can do illegal activity without civilian noticing it gets funnier, you can clean up the whole front section without even need to put on mask
Funnily enough, for the first few dozens of attempts the phone objective wouldn't activate for me so I thought this was the intended way to play the heist. Couldn't do this fast enough (considering I was also opening the safe in the basement) and manager has left, so I've tried hiding everybody in the VIP and failed when it turned out the lead guards enters there after you pick up a bag. Thought Overkill have gone mad trying to make stealth harder lol
You've likely figured this out by now, but to get the phone option to trigger you need to approach the facial scanner in the VIP area and trigger it to say "access denied". That's when you'll be able to use the phone to blackmail the manager with the evidence you photographed from the safe in the basement. If you never approach the facial scanner, the option to use the phone never becomes available.
@@Raykon333 Yeah, not obvious at all. I just happened to be watching a video where someone was doing a stealth run but no commentary and the phone triggered for him. I happened to notice that at one point he ran up to the scanner for a moment and it seemed at the time to be very out of the way, but after a few times playing the level myself and the phone not triggering, it dawned on me that he must've done that specifically so it would trigger.
Nice job. I didn't know about the shutters in the main room. Time-investment-wise not worth it though unless doing it for the funz or for the new infamy system.
Fun fact : this challenge is actually checked by securing all loot in stealth, which means you dont need to mask and control anyone to complete it, yes I ve done it this way, description is but an illusion.

I mean it doesnt matter much since you have the guard there sometimes so care is always going to be the issue but to fail right at the end would cause me much swearing.
Omg I never knew the lead guard only comes inside after you take the gem, I was so confused why he hadn’t failed due to the lead guard finding the school of tied up civs
how did you answer 2 radios? you killed the security guard in cams room and in the main room but the alarm wasn't triggered? only way i could do that is to ignore the second radio and trigger a search
i tried this last week. managed to stealth everything, but as i was moving the last few bags from the roof to the van, i got cocky and the civ spotted me. i tried to kill him quickly but then the guard came out and saw him. i hit alt f4 and have not recovered mentally since then
I remember doing this heist solo stealth on overkiil trying to get the achievement. Then i only forgot one bag didn’t know where it is at thought it might be in the public room then said f*** it lets end the heist and didn’t get the achievement and now they made the heist harder by making it 5s secure loop but with regular camera and lead guards which is annoying
Noice, I never knew you can close the blinders. Why did you not get the manager in the back with the info from the safe in the basement? I find it a lot more straight forward to get every bag I can get to the van before going out to where constantly more customers coming in. Other than that, consider your ideas stolen! Harhar!
Thanks, if I'm not mistaken then closing blinders is a suspicious action so this should be used with skill. If you restart the heist, the code doesn’t change.
@@Yolologyclosing the blinds isnt suspicious funny enough. Just make sure you dont misclick and take jewelry in view of the guard instead. Ask me how know
If you play a mission codes etc are randomly generated. BUT if you RESTART the same heist, the codes will remain the same. So you can run in like a maniac, check the code and restart with stealth knowing the code and ready to go.
@@Yolology closing blinders isn't suspicious, you can do it even without Social Engineering. Hell, you can do it right in the sight line of a guard and the guard doesn't give a damn.
This achievement can be completed 3 times faster if you open the safe with documents first and don’t do "case the jewelry store" objective. Then you canlock pick the jewelry in front of people and the manager won't leave (bug)
Super useful video my only 2 suggestions to speed it up if 1 u can have someone follow you and then grab a hostage to help move people and 2 after u cleaned the jewellery u should of given 3 bags to the AI to carry to the van for you as it means less likely a guard will spot u moving stuff and also less bag moving simulator 😅
@@Yolology sorta basically you know how they stood at the door while u cleaned the jewels you hand them the bags there then once you started heading to the van they went to the van basically that i learned the AI will follow you to the last public place u visited(that they can access unmasked)im not sure if thats what u meant by ordering them or not

All these people at the end wandering around the shop still going "Myehh not a very good selection." Is why I play payday. Not sure if its still a lack of polish or done on purpose at this point but bno other game can artificially create moments like payday can.
Believe it or not there is a easier way to steal everything from the front and it is dumb as hell but requires a friend. Hack all 3 cameras, spec in grifter/infiltration, and just grab everything from the front.
I dont get how lucky you had to have been to do the "breaking into jewerly store" part I keep getting there and then some random civ walks in the second I get everyone down.
so question if taking the gem out of the vault is what triggers the guards to start patrolling inside, wouldn’t it be best to leave it in the case until you bag and move everything else to the bathroom, then take the gem out of the vault?

With the whole exp change what’s the point of stealth? In payday 2 it gave you bonus money and exp but if the point is now only money then I’ll just play Loud

Every time I try this, I have problems with the front room, either multiple people come in, or I'm spotted from everyone outside through the door (I close the blinds). Thanks though, think I'll try again.
You can also watch the cameras to see if anyone is standing in front of the entrance before you run in, or memorize the location of the civilians if you reach the place exactly on time.
@@Yolology true, thanks for the tip. I don't understand why it only gives 50 infamy points though either, with the difficulty it should give a lot more. Playing with a team would be "easier", but, not with most of the teammates I've had. 🤣
Unfortunately there is no solution to this problem yet, the developers are aware of it, we can only wait. I took my rewards and synchronized through the launch of payday 2 before the release version of payday 3 drops
I did this without the scanner because I do not believe I could do it without alerting someone so I would just abuse cam hacking and grifter to steal all the loot from the front in maskless then sneak maskless to the vip to steal those (and just walk out the front door with them cause it doesn't matter where you came from, as long as you are in a public zone, there is no suspicion) and then mask up for the safe. only killed one guard to lessen risk from roaming guards since cam hacking completely shuts down the cam guard anyway. The reward was bad though, it was at 315,000 or something close to that.

he does that when you take the first bag. if you only take small treasure and secured all civs you then take the first bag and it trigger the lead guard to do that

I figured it didn't matter if I did it before or after, because the civilians on the outside have a poor view of what's going on inside. And the timing of the guard rounds was important to me.
@@FlokiDargo Pretty sure its bugged atm not a feature. Have used motion sensors on other maps without sticking them on guards and sometimes they stay active for whole game.. last time that i used them on art gallery they were on for like 25 minutes no problem.
@@AK-tn4sdits because it scans 15 times if its on their back it will immediately scan when the last one expires, if you stick it on floor it wont ping until someone walks by
I hate that NPCs just keep coming in the store. Controling civs is one of the most annoying and tedious thing to do in the game, especially the part where you need to move them 1 by 1.
