Honestly I think us having only 7 skill points, being limited on who we can play with, and the fact that we're not familiar with the map plays a big role in the difficulty. I think Overkill may be at the Mayhem difficulty level
@@kraken_team Didn't they say a lot of the skills are already changed? I hope so, you'll have around 47 skill points at lvl 120 since 7 and lvl 22 and I could get everything I would ever need.
Play ds with 15% of the skills it would be harder, I think overkill feels like mayhem if we had skills and decent team. I'm already predicting locations of enemies at 20hrs of playing payday 3.
0:54 "OKAY EVERYBODY, this is NOT a drill! We're here to ROB THIS PLACE, and there isn't a goddamn thing YOU can do about it!" it's little things/details like the addition of speeches for this bank(and maybe other locations in PD3 too), that makes this game all the more amazing
I must say I much prefer actually seeing how much money you're stealing when throwing it in the van, there's something so viscerally satisfying about it!
I hope it's just a matter of it being a Tech demo so those finer little details will be added for the full release. I do agree however I will be disappointed if I do not get to see Dollar signs and a fat bold text with "$100.000 Secured" as I throw bags into the van with a swat team on my ass
Your primary with the two skills to give you ammo from long range and auto reload mag whilst having edge is op, 1 shot headshot never having to reload and you can either get edge from standing still for 1.5s and refresh with headshots or stagger
Those are great but that's 4 out of 7 points if I remember correctly. You can also match it with plate up, which immediately restores missing armor chunks when you get ammo. I went for more armor and higher movement speed instead. I also really like the one that refreshes GRIT and EDGE on reload if the mag has ammo. Those are definitely going to be interesting to test in the full build - if they don't change.
@@kraken_team I ran full movement speed with infi ammo and it worked well, plate up was disappointing, I thought it would remove the red and give infi armour, sadly not. Plate up is also useless if you use cover, due to needing the first ammo skill, better to just run the plate basic skills for 20%. I tried an infi health and ammo one with meatshield skills and secondary hipfire skills with ammo but you have to ads with a human shield which breaks edge, very disappointing.
@@kraken_team I wanted to main the turret skills but it's bugged for me, seen a few people use it and say it was crap and died too easily, that's balance for you. Get 2 and die less because of two angles
True so as long as the termite is not down it is worth doing. The moment the termite spawns it's not. It puts the heist in a hold while you wait for an objective. Of course with multiple people it's much more effective.
Everyone seems to be praising the game but it just... doesn't look that engaging to me? Idunno It's confusing what others see in this that I don't, I hope that "it's just a beta" applies here
Yeah I was confused too lol I think they were performing a "sabotage" action and they just kind of sit and do that. Very weird. I think the devs said the AI has been improved since this build. Surely hope so.
I don't think it's necessarily that way. I think with 4 people is just harder to coordinate or find teammates of the same level. If 4 people did this same tactic running around together, it'd be easier. For example, with 4 people you can bring 4 armor bags and you can easily move 4 bags at the time. You can also do multiple objectives at once and make sure no dye packs explode.
@@kraken_team it’s how the gaming scale enemy spawns , when I’m doing overkill and I see team mates die I don’t even go there and help if we in the last stage it’s easier to transport survive and escape alone then with 4 players it sad but it’s the only way to play the game at Moment on overkill ofc if you have friends that are all plying meta builds and you running in circle with them it’s easier but with randoms nah dude if injured u gone for good , they need to change it
@GiveMoneyToRandoms obviously that's true. But in general the difficulty is easier with 4 good players. What you're talking about is the difficulty in finding good players
@@kraken_team idk what's happening there but, the game should have been running fine with those specs. you know if you're running your ram at the default 2133mhz or did you enable the xmp profile?
@Joe_Rebel the game never dips below 60fps and it's actually smooth. I think it may just be something with the recording where it seems like less. I think my streaming looked better. Also slideshow may be a slight exaggeration lol
@@kraken_team I wouldn't doubt it, windows core scheduling isn't great, which could lead to a non focused program not running great (the recording software). I am exaggerating but, I can tell the recording is choppy (not to be rude). I'm sure messing with your software could make things better, if you aren't already; use OBS, very customizable and reliable software. either way your cpu is a very nice unit especially being AMD and isn't the issue. I'd just double check you aren't running stock 2133mhz ram though since if you were, that will bottle neck things. just a friendly tip if you haven't already went into your bios to enable your ram profile :)
maybe its just me but I wish they had spent a bit more time on higher graphics settings, I get that they want it to be widely available but I still think they could have made it a bit prettier. Graphics kinda just payday 2 HD remaster. Gameplay looks fun though.
I just got back to payday 2 and it took me about 30 min to an hour to get used to payday 2 again. It may not look like it from a video, but it's a completely different game
Escapist Basic + Swift + Tank Basic + Extra Plates + Armor Up. I had Sharpshooter Aced but it didn't really serve a purpose. Now replaced it with Manipulator Aced.
