This should be like the wolfpack. If you own the DLC on Payday 2 you should get them for free on Payday 3. Why would I re-buy 13 years worth of content? I get these things cost money but if they are going to lazily port things over like Cook off (the building is absolutely massive due to unreal porting) they don't deserve the money.
@@Rempai420but they would also have to pay for the heists they have too because there were paid heists on console and crimewave edition isn’t tracked or supported I myself am a console player and I was super excited to get the cool masks that unlocked in payday 3 for playing and reaching a certain level of infamy of payday 2 but then I quickly realizing that crimewave edition isn’t counted the same would apply to console players for dlc as well
If we're paying for legacy heists, they need to have the same quality and replayability as they do in pd2. Take big bank for example, don't just remake the heist only for it to have no preplanning and no variation whatsoever. We would feel ripped off if the we were paying for less content.
Also I’m not paying for it if no textures are remade or it’s literally untouched, that’s just a bad deal, I think the cool off one is nice if it’s any thing to judge off a paid one
I agree. Payday 3 needs more unique, original heists in order to actually raise the player numbers alongside the needed core system overhauls. Unfortunately it’s evident they don’t have their priorities set straight but time will tell
As a paying customer i speak for most by saying im simply disappointed in Starbreeze in regards to everything that weve been through since the games release. At this point expect more word vomit and contradiction from Almir and the devs moving forward. Sigh
I can’t believe he had the gall to even ask if we would be okay with paid legacy heists, especially when people already think payday 2 is the superior version you want us to foot the cost of making payday 3 at that same level when it should have already been? I don’t think they should port over any legacy heists I think they need to focus on new heists with new ideas (and sort out skill system, levelling system). I don’t care as much as others about skills but when all the content has been seen that fast, it taints players minds

they could just make them free but have it rarely come out, thats what they basically did for 2, why cant they do it for 3? having this conversation already tells me that theyre either creatively bankrupt and have to crutch on older heists, or think their new heists are mediocre so they put in older heists people like we shouldnt be asked "would you like to buy older heists?", and instead asked "what do you like about the older heists?"

@@Swiggs999 Starbreeze/Overkill has bills to pay and they need to keep the lights on, else we don't have either Payday 2 or Payday 3 being supported. The problem is more or less how much they would charge and how different they are from their predecessor. I'd gladly pay like $1 or $1.25 per heist as long as it's fun and at least a bit different

@@nightmarepotato5000 The only player counts we see are for steam; and those numbers are a higher average than they have been since February. That is growth. We can't see Xbox, Gamepass, PS5, or Epic games player counts. Minimalistic thinker.
@@MrChase- Indeed it is growth, we went from a dead game to one in a coma. Also yes, other platforms exists but I doubt any of those have higher numbers individually than what we're seeing on Steam and something tells me this isn't the case of Steam having 300 players but Xbox or PS having 30k :)
