The timer isn’t even realistic either like if you had hostages the cops wouldn’t trade them for time. Maybe for resources though. And negotiating would go for 30min-hours
It's a game, not real life, game is suppose To be fun, escape from realism which is the point, not have it be super real that it's just annoying and not fun, I hate boomers that think games should be real life
nah bro for me its not about realism but just balance, the old armor system was way too op and forgiving, now you are actually punished when running out like an idiot @@phurion.
This was the one heist I didnt really enjoy, having to haul the loot to the van took longer than doing the actual heist. Apparently you can get the elevator preplanning drop but its RNG and if you get it, it saves like 10-15 minutes because you just drop the loot practically straight to the van.
Solo loud on certain missions like road rage, It's fun. But the AI are so bad it's a toss up for me specifically if I will get out at all. Especially when sometimes the map glitches out and for SOME ODD REASON THE VAN GOES TO THE SINK HOLES WHEN I OPENED THE GATE. Really love this game, def needs some patches for xbox / console (Frame drops ALOT to the 30s for the series S) and def needs to fix the hard lock glitches. Also wished the maps were a BIT better. But hopefully they make is so the AI isn't completely useless doing higher difficulties, Very hard to get a group of players when the menus are delayed and won't let you invite friends. As a loud player I still manage to enjoy this game always a blast to play even if the fun falls short due to just being me playing alone. And love watching your videos to get an idea of how I should stealth these missions always helpful.
Road rage solo is cake even on hard passed that it gets a little iffy haha the path the truck takes is always switched for me I just prep both routes as soon I place the EMP makes it hella easy and if you get the chute there’s no down time waiting for the heli which is nice
The funny thing is the game isn’t realistic anyways. You are doing the duck walk around highly secured areas. Staring guards in the eye and because you break eye sight before a 3 second timer they just pretend you aren’t there. Health regeneration is the last thing that breaks immersion for this game.
Never really played payday 2, lost interest early on when my friend quit so I'm coming into this fresh from payday 1. The only issue I have is the copious amounts of DLC that's going to be coming. I can't be the only one who remembers overkill talking about how DLC had no place in their game in early pd1 days,. So, so sad in my opinion to plan 3 paid dlc's for your release roadmap.
There's a perk in the ammo line that refills armor when you pick up ammo packs, haven't used it so I don't know how good it is but it's worth a shot for loud.
im pretty sure that only applys to current unfilled shield chunks, like if it's already able to regen it just gets it there faster, but i might be wrong
@@calosku Yeah just looked at it, you need to have Grit as well, it says "ammo drops will instantly regenerate your current armor chunk" so I guess that doesn't help in the long run.
Your 1000% right with the armor system. It so dumb that a team has to bring health and armor packs because if you do end up losing your armor without bringing armor packs its pretty much gone for the rest of the game, They should bring back the old armor regen mechanic and ditch the new armor system
thats becose it IS! loud or stealth, even when playing alone is fun (which is the case for the moment due to being hard to find other players [probably becose of the early acsess])
to be fair, PD2 had I think 10 heists at the start, but some were using the same maps like ukrainian job and jewellery store, or bank heist and firestarter day 3
It’s 8 heist but they have multiple different scenarios which keeps it fresh. Plus the actual game play is great, weapons feel super good movements nice too. Only issue has been matchmaking but their smoothing it out for sure. I’d imagine the DLC’s will bring out the full potential in time. Either way definitely recommend.
