I figured i'd go over all of the zipline bag favors seeing how we've gone over already all the heist specific favors. To cover all grounds, and help out anyone whos wondering how powerful these bad boys can really be

Probably worth mentioning, if you plan to halfstealth Touch the Sky, don’t place the zipline until it goes loud. I did one game, it smashed out a window and guards noticed.

I had one stealth run ruined on Under the Surfaze as a guard spotted a bag on the zipline, so better be a bit careful with that one if a guard is looking out the window.

Guards in the hallway can also see you on the zipline and there's nothing you can do about it. I genuinely think just moving the bags normally is easier, I've had so many stealth runs ruined by the zipline but navigating the outside area isn't that hard if you just learn how to do it

Yes zip line is very risky but to eliminate the risk just pile all bags up and send them all down zipline at the very end once you have retrieved all paintings. that way even if it triggers a search jobs already done

Something to note about Touch the Sky's zipline is that (as of release version) the zipline setup point is bugged and functions as a regular secure point that works in both stealth and loud as long as the zipline isn't set up

another note: do not secure the drive there, it'll softlock the heist.

That's interesting, I've a mod installed that shows payouts for bag secures and when setting up a Zipline in Touch the Sky it says "Secured Loot Zipline 0$"

I've tried this every time, and it works. Things to note if you place the zipline after dropping bags in there, your payout will be zero, and you can not put the drive in there.

Well now at least I know for sure with dirty ice... Brought a zipline there 2 days ago since I couldn't ever remember seeing it used there. Searched all over, never found the bag. 🤪

the 99 boxes zipline can be useful if you play with 4 people. as one person can pick that favor, and then you won't need to send someone to go find it since you know it will be right by the zipline spot :3

Before even watchingt the video, obviously the best heist for Zipline is dirty ice

It is worth mentioning that you have to be careful in "Under the Surphaze" there is another location for the ziplines which unfortunately does not lead to the van. Basically a trap. Found this out the hard way the first time I used it, not knowing about the other location that lead to the van.

It's not a trap. These ziplines lead from the 1st floor to second floor or from 2nd floor to the roof. If you're not playing stealth or with friends, these are much more useful, because the van bag is wasted in loud.

@@TheDemonicArthas Even if you plan to do it in loud, the ziplines are counterproductive. The place is full of stairs, so reaching the roof is not a problem, and having a armor resource is always better.

@@ilmistico90 You may not plan to from the start. You can also bring only one bag of each type. And again, in stealth, having an easy access to the second floor from all sides is also useful. It's not completely useless.

I don‘t know if anyone is interested, but I found a bug or failure in the bots on rock the cradle. You can create a space inside the left bathroom in the entrance area where noone but you can enter. It very easy to replicate because you just need to shoot the first cabin on the right side open from the inside. No bot (enemy or friend) can come in or out of this space. If you place yourself right, they can‘t even get a good angle to even shoot you. Another bug I encountered was in the same bathroom where I got stuck in the middle on the basin, but I don‘t know how and i can‘t replicate it yet. On this spot noone could hit me execpt the taser or the gas grenades from naders and i could just farm everyone with my shotgun when they entered the room.

Ive had a different experience on NRFTW the zipline on overkill, it helped out a ton it prevented us from dealing with death alley and potentially losing armor trying to move bags into alley with high amounts of spawns and we focused on killing targets there for a bit on assault waves and moved bags when we got a chance only 2 places they can come from is rappelling down on the side or the bottom of fire escape

The zipline in NRFTW ist helpful as f. IT Not only Bypasses the parking Lot but also the Ally of death.

i disagree with the TTS zipline being overpowered, sure its nice to have but without it you can just throw the bags out the same window and fall with them, the distance to the escape is not that long, at most itll save you a minute or two and some armor on an already pretty easy heist that only requires one bag for completion the one i find to be truly overpowered for loud is gold & sharke's zipline, not only is it guaranteed to save tremendous amounts of time since you are REQUIRED to move almost all the bags, but it also makes what would otherwise be the hardest part of the map a complete breeze, going through the stairs to the roof and outside is a complete death trap as you have SWAT literally constantly spawning on top of you and being on the actual roof after getting past that is even worse
