Paying it Forward, The Big Deer Contest with Mike Currington 

In this episode, Sean talks with Fowler Township Police Chief, Mike Currington about the Big Deer Contest held annually in Trumbull County.
During 2020 Chief Currington came up with an idea to get students, who were in the midst of COVID Lockdowns, outside with their families. He presented the idea to Mathew School District's School Resource Officer Steven Smith and The Big Deer Contest was born. The only hurdle left was getting Mathew's School Board to approve the idea.
After the idea was presented to the Board, The Big Deer Contest was full send. Now celebrating its fourth year, the contest has grown from a handful of participants to sixty!
