@@shoe_gaze you couldn't tell? by his slouching manor and just his facial expressions the whole time? the way his voice sounds? hes 100% depressed. Takes one to know one :(
The guy that initially turned the money down to help someone else who is having a tougher time, such a selfless move. Gem of a person right there, not too many of those types left
Ain't no way Maurice was sharing that money with his uncle 😂 Uncle "what's going on?" Maurice "Uh....... Nothing, Na nothing... We was just chilling" 💀😅🤣
Drew even said "Give the money to my neighbor across the street there car was smoky " that's a real caring neighbor its hard to find people like that to be your neighbors
@@Nyemku 1,300 dollars a month is something you dont really find and see now a days. Unless is a one- bedroom type of deal. In America most home/apartment rents in decent locations have gone up and range between $1,800-$2,300+ A month!! & if you ever think of living or renting in places in north of America like New York is way more then that. lol not considering the utility bills either. That would be separated. lol everything is so expensive .😪😪😪
i mean, not to make it a race thing at all, but look at the skin difference of all the people saying to stay away (minus the older group) for him to get over there and have almost a better experience over there
If enough people only realized that money is a tool, a gift, and your job is to utilize it to make things better, the world would be a much better place.

Bro, my dad had a gas station and I tell you, the owner before used to treat bblaackk/bbrrowwnn people with some shade and in a disrespectful tone. When we took over, we could feel the energy from the customers thinking we would do the same. But, my dad, bro and I always treated everyone with a (Hey bud, hey bro, hi sir) and I tell you, we had those customers smiling within a week. The problem with sour/mad people in this world is that they are usually treated in a certain way due to their race, status, look. Every human craves respect. I don't give a EEEEFFF if they were a rich business man in a benz or a man with a beat up car. They always got a hi/welcome/what can I get you/thank you when they came to our place. Humanity just needs a smile and a little respect and the entire world would change.

@fulanito1532 I used to live in a place called Oak Park. What separates the Ghetto and the upper middle class is a road. I was from the ghetto side, and we took that as a complement, sadly LOL
I thought the guy just knew Juan and knew exactly what was going to happen, so why not also have your good friends across the street some of Juans goodwill
Or to the Jamaican guy who already knows Juan's name yet Juan after a long discussion he says what's your name and just after he says " oh my name is Juan" 😂😂 Idell street makes u forget what u said 😂
my mama grew up in this part of tampa and it's really not that bad of an area. it's just low income. people are nicer there than in downtown st. pete where the average wealthy condo owner won't even spare a homeless man $5 let alone treat them like a human being
I used to do door to door sales of a restaurant coupon back in 1992 and I got my biggest sales in the hood, I had one girl say I should carry a gun, and four dudes just standing around offered me a beer, my worst was in the rich part of town, in fact I was across the street when this white guy driving a Lexus and blasting the song Money from the O'Jay's pulls up in his driveway, I start to walk towards him, get about a house away when he steps out and just holds up his hand, like talk to the hand. Back then I didn't say anything, now I would have gotten about one inch from his face, "do that now"
Im a single dad trying to survive here. Phoenix rent has skyrocketed after Covid. But seeing this really warms my heart man. Like I can’t even complain. There’s so many people out there struggling. I’m not the only one. Kudos to you Juan. I watch your videos religiously.
Most people are, and given the opportunity many of us would do the same. But everyone is struggling and wrapped up in their worlds, but these videos remind us that were are a community and sometimes it is very fulfilling to help out fellow community members. It is hardwired into our human brain's, the desire for ourselves and those around us to prosper!
I feel the differecne with others youtubers is Juan actually looks people in the eyes and listens to what they are saying instead of just for the camera giving the money and getting the fuck out of there.
yes I lived in the D and went to the poorest neighborhoods and they were always inviting us in for water or coffee..the news portrays the inner city like they're all criminals..no 100% not true
I'm a D2D salesman, and my favorite place to work is the hood. People are much more welcoming and down to earth (not everybody, but a lot more than richer neighborhoods).
yeah I mean most hoods are just super poor people trying to live honestly, its the hoods that basically sponser and support local gangs that get and deserve the bad rep.
the beauty of what most people call the "hood" or the "ghetto". not all of them are bad, they're just plagued with struggle. over-all though they're usually very tight-knit and caring.
Hahahha he didn't wanna tell, the way he was talking when his uncle came outside was really not clear, his uncle must've said to himself "wtf is he talking about"
The fact that you still went to the street that a bunch of different houses said to specifically avoid, only to have some real ass conversations and help out some great people is awesome. Juan you're a legend bro
@@Dogwalker447true but people still need to eat and pay rent so if I was betting I’d say some of it at least would go to those things. Poor people most certainly get evicted and tossed out and become homeless people. And Juan’s a real ass dude so maybe it would make them think twice idk I’m hopeful still

That’s how it’s supposed be we in this together! Real friends and they don’t look to take advantage of each other or cross any lines with each other’s partners! There’s soo much greed in the world that people don’t even take a second to think what it’s like to be the other person who may need it more than you and how much it would help them by showing an act of kindness and compassion towards each other!

This nice to hear. I really don't care for prank videos. This the first I've seen of this guy, glad it was a wholesome video rather than pranking, or I would've associated his name with pranks and never got to see this.
I love that he went on the exact street that people told him to avoid. That street was probably the street that could use the help the most. Please stay safe and thank you for what you do ❤️
Prayers turn to God may everyone everywhere be blessed and healed and protected in Jesus name amen! Thank God he is an awesome God! God loves you and I do too! Fear and love God too!.!.!.
I love the fact that Juan still went on that street when he was specifically told not to. He made so many people happy including me. God bless you bro.
Damn. As someone who grew up in the hood I respect you for going against the grain and putting your efforts where it was needed most. Even though they kept saying don’t go down that street, you knew there was a need there. Growing up in the hood, no one from the outside would come down our street except the police. They see the bullet holes and immediately rules us out. Much respect Juan. Sub for life.
Yes we can definitely tell he truly enjoys helping others. Thousand dollars might not seem like much but to some people having a hard time it could be life changing.
The fact that everyone told you to stay away from the people on Idell st like they were just bad peoples and you went straight to Idell to help them means more than all the money you handed out. We're all just people that are hurting. Thank you for having a genuine heart.
@@dylanjordan4747 nah the part where he was helping out that basketball team, I can say that is the hood I went to school with the one who had the white shirt and black beanie on.
These are great. Shows you that even people out there who might not be doing as good as you but they're still just grinding and don't want help from anyone. I respect that. There's good people everywhere.
I love that you went down the "scary street" and met the sweetest people. Those kids were so happy. You help more than the people in the videos, you inspire each of us to be kinder and do more to help those around us. ❤
Yeah I noticed they were even sweeter than the first ones in a way - more open, warmer, real in a way. Very interesting. I also like that fact that race didn't exist. So much better than the lousy videos of people beating each other.
It’s only scare bc the government never funds this part so it just has a horrible reputation and people go through bad things just to cope with it so he’s so sweet for this
Living in a place like this myself people just assume that all the apples are bad! There’s actually some kids who are just stuck there because either their parents are too poor to move from there or they love being in that type of environment it’s not for everyone being in a place like that where you just wanna mind your business.
That's why I really respect him. Dude takes the time too to kinda just talk and get to know them. Wished Mr Beast or at least his team would make this type of content too. They kinda just dump the money on people or have them do contests and call it a day lol
I laughed too hard at Maurice playing it off like they're boys and just chilling. 10 minutes later....."Maurice what'd that guy give you?" ..... "$50 Unc, we can split it" 😂😂
Man u just don't know how much that's means to people in the hood when so many people don't take a chance to just see the good in others just because of the street or the neighborhood they stay in that's was really amazing of you to go on a street that so many said not to go on but u had god walking with u and u did not judge no one u just made so many people day blessing to you man 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Man that basketball team thing is really wholesome. That trip will be something they'll remember, and it reinforces that if they just keep working hard they can make things happen for themselves. That's a powerful gift to give.
Wait… not knockin the kids hustle or saying I don’t respect it or even respect it any less due to this fact… But can make things happen for themselves is kinda wild…. He made it happen for them, if he didn’t do this and they made enough off selling peanuts to go THAT would have taught them the lesson you’re referring to. Jus saying gang 🤷🏽♂️🥂
@@torontotrev6177 They definitely got really lucky that the dude stopped by. On the other hand tho if they never did all the practice to get in the tourney, came up with the idea of selling peanuts, and done the work to set up the stand then dude would've never walked by.
The personality of Juan is just amazing man. He doesn't push people, he keeps things simple with no catches, he tells people they can do what they want with the money and more importantly the way he speaks is full of confidence

Drew def someone who chose to purchase a cheaper home in a low income area. Front of his house was significantly done up more too lol. It showed with how he knew not to even accept the money. Nice of him but also people like him will eventually push the people who cannot afford more out of the neighborhood.
Damn that’s crazy even millionaire, billionaires, and member of Congress won’t even think of doing what you doing. Thanks for what you do for the community throughout the US
Dont talk out your ass bud. Multiple millionaires and billionaires donate money you couldnt even fathom. Just bc you dont hear about it doesnt mean it doesnt happen.
People help people pay their rent or get jobs to pay their rent all the time. Pray that God helps you make a be a better friend. Join a true Bible preaching church that says what’s real and not what tickles the ears and let’s you stay sinful. Government can’t be the church. If you give them $2000 how much of that actually gets poured back into the community after it’s filtered through everyone’s hands? You would probably think it’s a joke if I told you the California government spent more than 700,000 per homeless person to basically help them live in a box and kick them out if they get a job, but that’s the truth of what happens when you let government policy instead of people listening to Jesus‘ be the church. Jesus says my sheep hear my voice and they will not listen to another. If you’re not hearing the voice of Lord telling you what to do and where to go and who to help get on your hands and knees and ask God to help you be the change this world needs. Money isn’t sinful, worship of money is sinful, money as a tool to do good, greed and expecting others to use their money is an act of worship to the demon of the Bible mammon who often tells young people to put their faith in him rather than God who is provider. So many people find success financially once they rebuke the worship of that demon in their life and start to actually trust God for provision. Most financial problems are not math problems, their spiritual problems, Jesus is the solution, the church is the way to get to that person to the solution, be the church and point people to Jesus. I have seen people broken free from generational poverty, It’s not about having faith in yourself, it’s about knocking that off and having faith in God. Do what he says with your money, and it will multiply to his glory and for the betterment of mankind. God loves you and wants you to have so you can give, don’t fall for the lies. John 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
this is really nice to see you help out lower class people coming from someone who was and is going through money issues it always brings tears to my eyes seeing people help out people like me
Oh my gosh. You are living proof that angels are walking the Earth. I just lost my job, and it does my heart good to see what you’re doing. God bless you forever.
I don't usually like seeing underpriveleged people getting used for content, but you do it in a respectful manor and put a smile on their faces so good for you bro.
Most of those people are probably living pay check to pay check and barely keel the lights on so getting 1 or 2 thousand dollars can really help a person breath. They can pay their rent that month and be able to have groceries in the fridge. That's a good feeling
It does feel a bit dirty, but if he can do this and make the money back from youtube to help more people and keep the cycle going, it's a pretty good deal. Just think of it as a transfer of wealth from Google to people who actually need it.
by posting these videos he can recycle the revenue back into these communities while taking money from large corporations at the same time. he's doing more for this world than most people you have to admit.
I'm a mailman and from my personal experience here in Florida....the streets people say to avoid usually have they NICEST, most selfless people. Good stuff on this channel.
True. I lived in a neighborhood in Nashville that people would call hood, ghetto, dangerous, not a good place to raise kids, etc. and it was the BEST experience ever! I felt safe in this extremely diverse part of town, and it was like 5 minutes from the lake and nestled in beautiful natural settings with exotic migratory birds. 😍😍 Now the people who used to avoid this neighborhood like the plague are crowding up in it 😒😒😒
You should come to Fort Myers if you get a chance, I’m a property manager down here and have lots of tenants that could really use help. But even if you can’t I can’t explain how much I appreciate your videos and what you do for people that’s so awesome that’s what being human is all about! Thank you Juan
seriously, anyone that turns down free money and recommends you give it to someone else that needs it more, and i don't really care how rich or wealthy you may be, is such a powerful indicator of a decent person. Those first two guys were beyond stand up citizens, that was fricken inspirational. Even if the second guy was like oh shit let me call all my neighbors cause this guy out here giving free cash, he is literally doing it FOR someone else, it wont affect how much money he receives.
The most epic 'pay your rent' video yet. Your interactions with the people on this video is simply heartwarming. Respect the hussle of those kids raising funds selling peanuts. Love and blessings from Hong Kong!
From prankster to pick-up artist to public troll and now blessing strangers... Juan has the best channel evolution of the history of RU-vid... I'm so proud and inspired by you bro, you're unreal... God Bless you !
@@TylerChurch I wouldn't say I was surprised by their kindness, but surprised by their friendliness. In the hood a lot of people are for each other. Random person walks up on your door, it's never a good thing. It's refreshing to see such a strong community in that part of the hood.

I've never watched his channel before ...and I Love this, he doesn't engage in those acts of pretending to need money first ; he goes straight to the point, helping people.
