@@MarkBerenger Khabib went to be a coach.. I can see Payton Talbott in the XGames then dropping an album the next week. Then goes swimming with dolphins.
@@TheGigaChigger people compare upcomers to the champs of their divisions sometimes. also apparently people think there are similarities between the two of them but I don't see it, other that they both like to strike.
Obviously a pretty intriguing prospect. Unusual out of the cage persona and exciting in the cage. Like any prospect - he'll get tested eventually, just depends on who the UFC throw at him and how soon. I'm interested to see what his ground work looks like if and when fights go there. Regardless, I'm looking forward to his next fight
For those who say this guy doesn’t look all that good. Watch that fight against Saman. Dude is really impressive. Y’all can’t judge him off of the fights in this video. These are his first few fights. In his fights in the UFC so far, he looks so much more polished. Stay tuned.
He reminds me of Carlos Newton a bit with his personality and approach to fighting. He also reminds of Vegan Gains (with less sociopathy and a likely more stable upbringing).
Sorry to say this because I quite like Laura Senco as a commentator but what a HORRIBLE performance by the two female commentators in the first fight, they didnt seem to. know anything about MMA or even combat sports in general, talbott hitting a beautifull lead step in ellbow and they are talking about the jab his opponent partially landed
He’s young and has loads of potential. Nobody is saying he’s going to shake up the division this instant. Why are you hating on a kid with 1 UFC fight under his belt
@@mkdub9600 astute observation captain obvious. He clearly has a good skill set for his short time as an MMA fighter. There is a reason he’s considered BW’s top young prospect. Why is it necessary to try and undermine a fighter with so little experience when it’s not at all warranted?
He is a throw back in sorts the fighter's used to care n play to fans and then it went almost dead when wrestling n takedown almost ruin the UFC cause they either always counted them as to much or not enough and a lot guys would go in and shoot n lay on the guy for the round while the guy under him stayed in a closed guard n never attempted to move. He said it “ I’m doing what I’d like to watch in a fight” that says it all right there! N he seems like he DGAF what anyone thinks of him. Young crusher coming for sure if he stays stright! Kill it bro good luck! Def be watching.🤙💪
If he thinks he can go up against that cast of characters with his chin out like that... He's definitely "going to learn a lot about himself"; as he said.
I mean I enjoy grappling. Especially mixed style stuff, BJJ against wrestling against sambo, or mixes thereof. Watching someone like Oliveira or Mighty Mouse pull of crazy submissions at high speed is awesome. Striking is great, I just think nowadays people appreciate grappling more than ever, especially highest level stuff. Edit: all that said btw he seems great and I look forward to seeing him fight more, tho the lighter divisions have so much high level talent anymore it's wild. Ofc heavyweight and LHW have a few big ones but still, even middleweight is like 3 dudes lol
This dude is a beast. Always improving . He has the natural freak athleticism . Once he gets dialed in after 2-3 more fights , he’ll be unstoppable. The tools are all there . I just don’t think he’s ready for the top 5 yet. But he will be
@@liggerstuxin1clearly all psychology has done is lead him to having a massive void in his life (as seen by his tattoo choice). Jesus sounds like a fairy tale til you look into it. ✌️
@@Bjjbgk durr ok 👌 If you think about it, Satan only punishes those who do wicked things. He’s basically like jail. He does what’s needed. Meanwhile, God is setting people up to fail to go to hell. Punishing people for having urges that he gave them.
@@liggerstuxin1 I think you are misconstruing people’s God given Free Will. God allows you to make these life decisions on your own. It is your job however to follow as closely to his written word as possible, while also juggling having free will. He does not give us these urges and facilitate humans going to hell, satan does. God has unyielding love for those that come back to him though. It’s never too late for ya
He's just showing striking skills with these opponents. Be interesting to see him incorporate his wrestling skills along with the striking as he works up the ladder against more skilled fighters
Oooo my first sight of this kid and O can't wait to see him compete in the UFC. He uses every limb to strike depending on where an opening is and seems to do it effortlessly. I saw a missing jab from this kid turn into an elbow strike on the fly, insane. Then there is his body attack forceful effective and beautiful all at the same time. I think his affection with psychology makes him know exactly what he wants to do in the ring and even scarier it makes him know what his opponent is thinking and he comes up with solutions on the fly in the flow.
Did I c him pole dancing in the background too lol the nail polish the internal void tattoo oh yeah he’s somethin special very intriguing handsome guy lookin forward watching him fight
that void he just needs to re identify with awareness instead of the ego / person / fighter. And then that void will not be there, and can be 100% for fighting...at peace.
I mean, he's a flashy kid, but I didn't see anything that screamed "world beater." Also, with unorthodox guys, once their style is figured out, they tend to fade. Lyoto Machida is an example.
His channel is super weird but good. If he continues to perform like he did against Cameron then we have a future champ here. Looking forward to seeing how this hype train pans out.
I absolutely love suga, and so far I'm really really enjoying what I'm seeing in Payton too. If those 2 fought it'd probably be one of the most fun fights but I think merab is gonna test suga and eventually test Payton too so thats bad ass
They did fine, it was barely any different than any other commentators talking over each other. The UFC isn't much better with the likes of Rogan and Cormier talking the entire fight.
I love suga shane.. but not only is payton far better than where O'Malley was 2 fights in the ufc.. But this guy who showed up vs sieman could fight omalley today & have a real chance at winning..
Suga absolutely was not better than Talbott this early into his career, Suga was fighting cans when he was 8 fights deep into his career, Suga had a amateur loss on his record where as Talbott is still unblemished, Talbott has finished 7 of his fights so far
O'Malleys 1st Pro fight: Josh Reyes 0 Wins 1 Loss 4 Losses as an amateur 2nd fight: Shane Sargent 1 win 15 losses 3rd fight: Omar Avelar 9 wins 12 losses 4th fight: Mark Coates 10 wins 8 losses 5th fight: Tycen Lynn 7 wins 5 losses 6th fight: Irvin Veloz 4 wins 6 losses 7th fight: David Nuzzo 11 wins 2 losses 8th fight: Alfred Khashakyan 11 wins 5 losses Wins 53 Losses 54 Payton Talbott 1st Pro fight: Abdylkadyr Kaladarov 5 wins 3 losses 2nd fight: Billy Brand 5 wins 1 loss 3rd fight: Hector Fajardo 6 wins 4 losses 4th fight: Anthony Jiminez 5 wins 6 losses 5th fight: Christhian Rivas 10 wins 3 losses 6th fight: Reyes Cortez Jr. 7 wins 3 losses 7th fight: Nick Aguirre 7 wins 2 losses 8th fight: Cameron Saaiman 9 wins 2 losses wins 54 losses 24 Its night and day who has faced the better comp in there beginning 8 fights, sure Suga is better more refined and is much much closer to a finished product than Payton, but he in no way shape or form is better 8 fights into his career than Talbott
He fights goo but you get somone with good wrestling to shut down his offense its over. Plus the competition in the top 5 is too much for him at this point
Whoever the opponents voting coach is should be ashamed of himself. Zero head movement and walking straight into punches with hands down. You're just asking to get knocked out.
What I see is a lot of Sean O'Malley here in his earlier years. Not quite at Sean's level today but he might learn a thing or two. Definitely an up-and-comer. We'll see.
Hmmm idk dominating one of the top young prospects in BW seems like good enough reason to be hopeful for his potential success in the division. Learn to speak English btw
@@slintisbasedlmao he just demolished a tough ass prospect and this man says he has a feeling he’s going to fall off …. I’m dead , like how does that makes sense without it just being hate ? lol
I'd love to see him in the octagon soon. If he really wants to that is. There are always consequences to this kind of fighting and he has none of them yet. But he and everybody knows that so, yea.
"I wish this would last a whole other round, this is wonderful!"...... So here we are at the same crossroad.......damnit. Can women be effective mma commentators?......of course not everyone.
How many women are: Interested in mma Understand mma Have a suitable voice for broadcasting Are skilled in ad/lib, rhetorical improvisation, co-host dialogue Comfortable and confident on camera Have solid etiquette My guess is not that many.
His good but i hope the UFC don't rush him to fight anyone in top 10 but you know they will coz their greedy bastards i don't think he would beat anyone from 7 down to sean yet anyway but get him on a UFC win streak of 7-8 which is what 2 years of fights or less he will then be 27yo which is then hitting his prime and unstopable.
You most definitely had the wrong angle. He missed with that front kick if he hit him with it and then landed them two punches it would be over the kick alone probably would have been enough
The dude is going to make a believer of all of m. He is still real young an if he stays focused then he will be a world champion, but there is so much horse shit to pull you and off the focus.
