Absolutely! Those convicted of violent offenses should not be on "get-out-early-because-of-overcrowding-list." Think about all those in for theft of drugs or non-violent offenses who will be in prison seemingly forever. It's insane.
I didnt know this case, but love PB and I used to visit there many times during holidays. This guy has definitely same psychopath crazy look in his eyes same as Ted Bundy, and he should be in jail for rest of his life. cause just like this brave woman said he would do it again and again.
He reminds me of Tim Roth, who always made me uneasy...I know he's an actor, and maybe he's the nicest guy in the world, but sometimes I think that peoples true nature leaks through into their performances...people like Tim Roth, and Ron Perlman come to mind...
Better still - when is society going to STOP having women obsess about their bodies, appearance, makeup, hair, etc. and START making it acceptable for women to learn and have the skills to fight like men?
@smckay6438 I know you didn't personally, because you seem like you have your head on straight. But California voters keep voting for terrible propositions that directly cause these issues with crime (like voting for Prop 47 that made thefts hard to prosecute) and then when the shitty results happen, they blame judges and prosecutors. The same prosecutors and judges were doing a good job 10 years ago when they had the right tools. Voters decided to handcuff them and expect them to still be able to control crime. Voters voted for crap legislation and then legislators decided to see this as a mandate to enact even more crap legislation. You want prosecutors to be tough on crime? Let them.
@@HalfNHalf. Just take it easy, it's the law. The guy is eligible for a parole hearing under the Elderly Parole Program because he is not condemned or sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. Depending on the individual’s current sentence, their first parole hearing will be scheduled once they have either 1) been incarcerated at least 20 continuous years and at least reached the age of 50, or 2) been incarcerated at least 25 continuous years and at least reached the age of 60. For more information on parole suitability hearings under the Elderly Parole Program, please visit the board’s Elderly Parole Hearings Overview.
"PB rapist sentenced to 96 years in prison is up for parole" This sentence is the stupidest thing I've heard. He's in there for 96 years, he should STAY in there for 96 years, NO PAROLE!!
It doesn't work. It was proven decades ago. Look it up. Sex isn't just hormone driven, it also includes mental health. Offenders who under went castration turned out to use objects & worse, murder people. A lot of research has been done on castration.
@@TheRealCaptainFreedom “Democrats?” Are you forgetting that your cult leading GOP wannabe president has been accused of sexual assault by nearly 30 women and has already been convicted of one of those crimes!
7 women at knifepoint??? are you kidding me??? and he may get out??? this is a violent crime and he should get life w/o parole...the system is failing our country!!!! OMg unbelieveable, to prevent overcrowding??? what??? let out the non violent offenders...OMG. he will always be a danger to society.
I knew a guy in high school in the 1970's that committed a series of rapes in Austin Texas and was known as the "Choker Rapist" and was eventually caught. They hammered him with a hefty sentence, but a Federal Judge told Texas they had to release him and many others due to overcrowding. So, he only served a handful of years and predictably started re-offending months later until he was caught again.' He died in the 1990's in prison from cancer, so his days of terrorizing are over. This guy featured is going to re-offend so hopefully they will not release him. It's a shame we have to live on the same planet with creatures like this.
The same ruling allowed the release of Kenneth McDuff (the Broomstick Killer). He killed three teenagers in 1966. He was released on parole, and killed six women.
The NEXT TED BUNDY!!! Love her quote” he’s every woman’s nightmare.” Eligible for Parole due to overcrowding.???? Keep this monster locked up. He even looks evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MrAden1307 You sound like someone that would be like the convicted guy. All she was saying was she got lucky not to be terrorized. Story to tell that most of us can sympathize with. GTFOH with that stupid Comment
Can you. Well that just means you're kind of weak and need to make yourself feel better, by labelling me. Luckily I'm a man and such things mean jack shit. I'm in the real world. I don't get scared just being outside 😂
@@22lyric 😂😂 Sounds like cope to me. Luckily I'm a man and your opinions don't effect me. I'm ok being outside. It's women who need to get strong and brave. Instead of weak and ready to be a victim at any opportunity This women is really trying to be a phantom victim 😂
Kim thank you for being so strong and coming forward. You have saved so many women from being assaulted. God bless you Kim, with continued strength, love and peace.
It isn’t the judge. It’s the change in the law “because of prison overcrowding”. Maybe let people convicted of drug-trafficking or other low-level crimes out early. But murderers, pedophiles, and rapists? No. Never.
I remember the news reports before "IT" was caught! It was not a man but a total terror! 96 years perhaps was not enough time in prison! I am shocked & appalled that "IT" is being considered for parole? Parole, rather than discovery of other victims who were too afraid to come report "IT" IN THE PAST ! Listen to the people and keep this risk in prison ALL 96+ YEARS PLEASE thank you
Kim you are brave I support you in your quest to keep "IT" IN PRISON 96 YEARS. My wife is also named Kim. Jail overcrowding? Build more prisons problem solved.
Hard to believe these women had to sit and testify in front of such a monster. Thank god laws and processes have changed to protect victims of sexual violence.
The laws haven’t changed enough because due to jail overcrowding, he’s up for parole way too early. With the amount of crimes he committed he should not be eligible for early parole, regardless of overcrowding issues.
The legal system is completely on the side of crime and terror. It’s an economic thing. If criminals like that “guy” were punished appropriately, then all the lawyers, judges, prisons, and lawmakers would be out of a job. Disgusting.
Judge: "If released, what's the first thing you intend to do?" Bogart: "Get laid!" Judge: (sigh) "Okay, just put him back in. I'm not sure why we're even here."
"He hasn't even served a third of his sentence, but is already up for parole" is a sentence that singlehandedly shatters the argument that our "justice" system works.
NO. HE SHOULD STAY IN. WHAT reform has he had?? Without castration there is no possible way he won't re-offend. It is statistically impossible at this point.
@@leavesongrass you know what scary most men think that their penis is our world they do i mean, come on dinks are a dime a dozen, and we dont even need one to have a BIG O! so, ummm, your thang isnt that big of a deal to us its your attitude, how u treat us, how we connect, so much more than sex so much more.
