I was sitting at the end of the stands by the pins. It was great to be there to see them. I would like to say that I was witness to one of the greatest gestures in any sport. After his loss, Simonsen took a picture and signed a pin for a young fan who told his dad that all he wanted was an autograph from Simo. The father and son came back in time to see the start of the Butturff / O'Neill match. During the commercial brake in that first match, Simo came from the back of the stands to gift the son one of his new shirts that were just made. I don't even think they are out yet. True class all the way. True class from all of the Pros. When I bowled in the Pro-Am on May 1st, they were all taking time to talk to the bowlers they were on the lanes with, sharing their stories, signing and taking photos (thanks again to Belmo who took a picture with my mother!). Thank you for all that you do, and good luck to all of you in the future. Be well!!
Does anyone know where to find the full broadcasts rather than these cut up versions? I'm still learning the game and would like to hear what these guys have to say.
There’s entirely too much luck in this sport. 31 years of bowling and I still hate/love this sport for the amount of plain luck some people have *cough* butturff
